Actress Talia Balsam, whose photo can be seen in the article, was born in New York in 1959 in the family of actress Joyce Van Patten and actor Martin Balsam. He is a relative of actor Dick Van Patten, as well as director and actor Tim Van Patten. She was a pupil of a boarding school in Tucson (Arizona), and from 1971 to 1974 she attended Treehaven School in the same city.

In 1989, in Las Vegas, Thalia married George Clooney, but four years later their marriage broke up. Later, the actor said that it happened because at that time he was not ready for marriage.
