Treatment of cholecystitis

Predisposing factors for the development of cholecystitis in acute and chronic forms include damage to the walls of the gallbladder and stagnation of bile. These conditions can be caused by a violation of the eating regimen, a sedentary lifestyle, metabolic disorders, prenatal period, the formation of calculi, injuries, constipation.

How to treat cholecystitis?

When the first signs of the disease appear, it is necessary to visit a specialist and undergo a full examination, including laboratory tests.

Treatment of cholecystitis should not be accompanied by a prolonged restriction of patient mobility. Otherwise, it can contribute to stagnation of bile, thus exacerbating the condition. Bed rest is recommended only in case of exacerbation of symptoms.

An attack of biliary colic is accompanied by pain. In this case, it is very important to immediately eliminate it. For this, it is advisable to use "Spazmolitina" or "No-shpa." Also, during the period of pain attacks, moderate heat is used in the hypochondrium on the right (warming compresses, non-hot heating pads).

Antibiotic treatment of cholecystitis is indicated for the identification of an inflammatory process that affects the biliary tract accompanied by pain and fever. The course of therapy is prescribed relatively short-term (from seven to ten days). Antibiotic drugs should be used in combination with Bactisubtil, as well as necessarily with vitamins B, C, A. Medications with a wide spectrum of action are used. These include Amoxicillin, Ampioks, Amoksiklav.

When giardia is detected in bile, antiangiotic drugs are prescribed.

Treatment of cholecystitis without fail includes taking choleretic drugs. Such medicines have the ability to reduce stagnation in the affected bladder. In addition, drugs contribute to the accelerated elimination of inflammatory processes. Most often, a combination of magnesium sulfate of a five- or ten-percent solution with cholagone, holosas or medicinal herbs is used.

Treatment of cholecystitis is more effective if the patient follows a special diet. It is advisable to increase the frequency of food intake to four or six times. Thus, bile outflow is improved.

It is recommended to include bran, egg protein, cottage cheese, yeast drinks, oatmeal, fish (cod) in the diet.

Patients suffering from cholecystitis, very poorly tolerate fatty varieties of poultry, meat, fish, as well as fat. It is allowed to use only butter from animal fats. Exclude recommended products containing hard-to-digest fiber (turnip, cabbage). Vegetable oils are very useful. These include corn, olive, sunflower. Vegetable oils contain unsaturated fatty acids (linolenic, arachidonic, linoleic). They have a stimulating effect on the process of separation of bile, as well as on the condition of the liver. A necessary condition is an increase in the amount of fluid used.

With exacerbation in the diet of patients, only vegetarian soups are present. Fried foods (particularly breaded), very cold foods and drinks, seasonings (peppers, vinegar, garlic, mustard, roots, onions, horseradish), sausages, mushrooms, ham, pastry (butter), cocoa, pancakes are not recommended at all coffee.

The diet contains boiled vegetables, soft drinks, fruit drinks, fruit drinks, jelly, unreserved juices, dairy products (kefir, yogurt, milk), black and white bread (yesterday's preferred). High magnesium foods and radishes are recommended.

The treatment of acute cholecystitis is accompanied by the use of herbal preparations.
