An environmental engineer is a relatively new, but very popular specialty today. First she appeared in the West.
The
profession of a sanitary engineer was first isolated from the
profession of a civil engineer, and then a specialty, called an environmental engineer, branched off from it. You can get the education of an environmental engineer at different universities. Some train professionals in joint
programs (environmental sanitation), while others prefer narrow specialization. Where are people with such a specific education in demand? At industrial enterprises whose activities are associated with the use of
natural resources, where bio- or
chemical technologies are actively developing
. Unfortunately, despite the fact that, according to statistics, the environmental costs of production are increasing annually, not all managers are ready to hire environmental engineers.
