Cinema on sports subjects, as a rule, interests mainly people who are at least somehow connected with sports. At least this applies to films about football, basketball, other "-ball" and similar types. But extreme sports, because of their entertainment, also attract those spectators who prefer a walk in the park for a couple of hours to lie on the sofa with chips. Such people cannot get a lot of adrenaline in their own lives, so they enjoy the emotions of others.
Extreme cold at home
Films about snowboarders, skateboarders and climbers make the heart beat in your chest faster, and the chips fall out of your mouth with excitement. In recent years, many such films have been shot. Especially often films about snowboarders appear on posters and in various tops. The more popular this sport becomes, the more films are shot about it. Fashion, as expected, came from the West, but the Russians quickly removed a couple of films on the same subject.
Frost-proof Canadians and great jokes
Statistics show that most often films about snowboarders are shot in a comedy genre. You should not be surprised - you can come up with a lot of jokes on the topic of unsuccessful falls and faulty lifts. Of course, making such humor funny is almost impossible, so today the only ones who have succeeded are the creators of the animated series Tom and Jerry. But hope, as you know, dies last. While she is alive, viewers get films like Superborders. It is noteworthy that in the producers of this picture are two countries: the United States and Canada. The Americans, therefore, wrote the script (including jokes) and conducted a casting, while the Canadians chose a place for filming and watched the filming process, periodically presenting blankets and tea to the Americans who were blue from the cold. Despite the unusual partnership, the film was quite funny. So good that even got hold of the second part.
European approach to snowboarding
Making films about snowboarders is not only the responsibility of Canadians and Americans. The Czech picture with the simple title “Snowboarders” confirms this fact. Cute youth cinema in bright colors depicts the most acute problems of young people. There is romance, humor, and a little tragedy to deepen the atmosphere, and dilute the plot. This is a story about two friends who decided to spend a vacation at a ski resort. Their expectations were not met - for free accommodation you need to pay hard work, and the girls of their dreams pay attention only to the steep snowboarders. The movie is very soulful and perfect for family viewing on New Year's holidays. Actors play in “Snowboarders”, however, leaves much to be desired, but you can give them a chance - the actors are still very young and hot, so that in a few years they can also flash in dramatic films.
Why is Russia worse?
Speaking on the topic of snowboarding, it is worth mentioning the Russian film about snowboarders. The year 2014 brought the audience of the CIS countries an unpretentious picture “Only girls in sports”. The popular stars of Russian television series gathered in this movie, including Ilya Glinnikov from Interns and Alexander Golovin from Kadetstvo. The picture has a typically comedy story: trying to save their own heads from fair punishment, three friends have to pretend to be girls and find temporary shelter in the women's snowboarding team. Actors play very well, and domestic humor is practically not vulgar and is fully understood by our viewers. In addition to humor, films about snowboarders and skiers surely delight moviegoers with picturesque landscapes and breathtaking stunts. The movie “Only Girls in Sports” boasts this, among other things.
Age-restricted snowboarding
Some films about snowboarders, the list of which will be presented below, may contain visually unpleasant images or screen cruelty. For example, the “Frozen” tape, which is very indirectly associated with representatives of snowboarding, is not recommended for viewing by persons under 16 years of age. This film masterpiece clearly illustrate what is fraught with excessive recklessness and rash acts. Some snowboarders are mainly focused on showing professional tricks. They can be seen in "Valley of Avalanches", "Extremals", "Ice Adrenaline" and "Maximum Extreme". Of course, in feature films, all these tricks are slightly embellished, and sometimes snowboarders boldly violate the laws of physics and do not care about gravity.

The viewer who wants to look specifically at snowboarding should advise the broadcast of the relevant competitions or a documentary. For those film buffs who want to get acquainted with the culture of snowboarding, and have a good time in the company, it is better to watch an artistic tape about snowboarding.
