Remember in childhood, how proud we were of our seams in front of peers and how fearfully looked at other people's seams? Yes, the seams were then an occasion for pride: for boys - a positive indicator in front of girls, for girls - an indicator of quickness and insanity. Some hid their seams because of the history of their appearance or their own biases. Then it was difficult, as the doctors constantly made the usual stitches (surgical) and had only to rely on the skill, mood and often sobriety of the doctor. Surprisingly, some people still had a cosmetic stitch, but these were not the last people of the state.
Nowadays, a cosmetic seam is more a matter of money than specialists. There are a large number of clinics, beauty centers and other medical institutions that for a certain amount of money will do truly miracles. A seam is a connection of fabrics by stitching (staples or thread). There are two main types of sutures: cosmetic and surgical. The first are made for aesthetic beauty - they do not have visual visibility. The second are ordinary seams that leave traces of themselves. Surgical sutures can be done manually or by machines (special devices). Also, surgical sutures by location are divided into external and internal.
If surgical sutures can be both external and internal, then a cosmetic suture can only be external. Agree that it makes no sense to pay crazy money for a seam that will not be available for viewing. Seams also conditionally vary in severity. If the wound is not complicated and without complications (decay, internal injuries ...), then the suture is applied immediately. If the wound is complex, then the seam may be temporary. Such stitches are applied in two cases:
- if it is necessary to tighten the wound for the first time (in case of emergency);
- if necessary, visually observe the progress of healing.
In the first case, the surgical suture is tightened tightly, after a while completely removed and surgery is performed. In the second - the seam is not completely tightened, after normalization, it becomes constant - completely tightened. Surgical sutures can also be removable, absorbable and lifelong. Removable sutures are typical sutures when, after healing, the thread is pulled to the patient and a scar remains with traces. Absorbable seams - this is when the thread consists of a special material, which by itself disappears. Lifetime - seams made from non-absorbable material and staying with you for life. Removable seams are used in mass application, except for internal stitching. Absorbable sutures are often used as cosmetic, but sometimes to connect the tissues of internal organs (so that the thread of normal life does not interfere). Lifelong sutures are used only for suturing internal organs (if this does not interfere with their performance or when there is no other way).
In order for the cosmetic seam to be perfect, it is necessary to perform delicate and complex work. If in the case of a surgical suture, the doctor pierces the skin completely, which provides a scar, then cosmetic is applied differently. Such a suture is done only in the epidermis of the skin. The skin, as you know, has a pretty good healing. This means that everything that happens to the skin within the epidermis is corrected by regeneration. Remember how many times you fell or scratched about something (or about someone). Surely you have no traces left, if again - not a deep wound.
Quite rarely, but there is a situation when the seam is opened after surgery. For many, this is a subject of great panic and jitters. In fact, this situation is possible if your body has a low survival rate or that of a certain organ (or meta). It is also possible if you were giving power to a stitched place. In practice, such situations are divided into two types:
- the seam was opened after a short time;
- the seam was opened after a long time.
In the first case, you will most likely still be in the hospital. Therefore, all you need is not to panic, but to call a doctor or nurse. In the second case, the situation is not so terrible either. As a rule, sublayer tissues heal, and only the skin layer diverges. This is certainly not aesthetically pleasing, but not fatal. You need to go to the hospital or call an ambulance. Often such cases occur in mothers who have given birth. In such cases, when referring back to the maternity hospital or local hospital, doctors often refuse help because of the different responsibilities. Therefore, one of two options can solve this problem:
- initially agree with the doctor (and give a bribe);
- go for plastic surgery or go to the hospital for money.
