About the criminal drama "Home", released in 2011, mixed reviews. Most critics greeted Oleg Pogodin's film positively. However, she did not attract much attention from the audience. About the actors of the film "Home" (2011) is described in the article. It also outlines the plot and some facts from the history of the film.
Landscape of the "Quiet Don"
One of the critics compared this film with the great works of Mikhail Sholokhov. The plot of the film has nothing to do with the story of the Melekhov family. The similarity is observed in unusual Don color. The director and the crew managed to create this atmosphere with the help of the Kuban landscapes and the old Cossack romance, which sounds at the climax.
The main idea of the picture is its name. At the same time, the plot of the film "Home" (2011) is very tragic. This is by no means a thriller. “Home” is a psychological drama that tells about the destruction of family foundations.
Plot
Among the endless Don steppes stands a lonely huge two-story house. A large Shamanov family lives in it. At first glance, it might seem that mutual understanding reigns in this house. In reality, it becomes more and more difficult for family members to get along with each other every day.
It is planned to celebrate the centennial of Ivan Matveevich - the oldest Shamanov. Once it was a scary man, during the Civil War he mercilessly shot fists. Now his son Grigory Ivanovich runs the house, whom all family members respect and fear. The eldest son Victor is expected to arrive. He has not been in his home for many years. Once in his youth he was imprisoned, served a term, and then went to Moscow, where he made a criminal career.
The house also has three Shamanov sons, one of whom is married and has children, a daughter Natalya and her intelligent alcoholic husband. On the birthday of Ivan Matveevich, another son arrives - Alexei Ivanovich, as well as the eldest daughter of Grigory Ivanovich.
Nadezhda Petrovna, Shamanov’s wife, suspects that the eldest son did not come at all because of his grandfather’s birthday. She is right. Victor is being monitored. He will try to hide in his home. But he will not succeed, moreover, the persecutors will destroy almost all of his relatives.
