Probably no one can imagine these days without the crown movie masterpiece “The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath!”. Unfortunately, this year Russia was left without Hippolytus, a wonderful artist Yuri Yakovlev. It’s a pity, the sequel to the picture turned out to be out of the blue, it would be better if they didn’t shoot it at all. Of the good old films, it is worth recalling the unchanging and ageless Carnival Night with the dazzlingly young Gurchenko and the later television Sorcerers, a kind of Soviet fantasy. One more comedy in the same style is also touched - “New Year's tariff”. The plot is borrowed from the US "Lake House". Lovers Alyona and Andrei (wonderful Valeria Lanskaya and Maxim Matveyev) are separated from each other ... 365 days. Young people communicate on a mobile phone with a special tariff, only He lives in the future. And on the eve of the New Year’s Eve, the hero is simply obliged to save his girlfriend, otherwise what will this holiday be like?
Russian and American New Year comedies (those more about Christmas commotion) are different from each other, and quite noticeable. The creators of the United States have more eccentrics - as in the immortal films of Gaidai at the time. These are the “Christmas holidays” with Chevy Chase. The restless owner of the house, Clark Griswold, is struggling to arrange a grand celebration for the family, but he does a little more effort than necessary. As a result, the tree burns - in the truest sense of the word. But the long-suffering garland closed - and go, check all 25 thousand light bulbs! But Drew Latham from the tape “Surviving Christmas” decided to celebrate the good old holiday in his own way. He hired a family (he doesn’t have his own) and comes off to the fullest! Not the best role of Ben Affleck, but the movie is funny.
Anti-Celebrators
With a plot about "anti-celebration" begins its story "Christmas with Losers", which, of course, can be attributed to the section "New Year's comedies". The characters, played by Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, decided that this time they would do without the traditional Christmas stuff.
