Plot

The story begins with the fact that the queen of the dragon kingdom has a terrible disease, for which there is no cure, and this is old age. Despite the fact that no one can live forever, the queen requires the best doctor in her kingdom to find a way to stop aging. In one of the books, the doctor reads that "who laughs will not grow old." That's just dragons do not know how to laugh.
The dragon queen orders her servants to bring human children to her kingdom. Pirates are happy to abduct the kids and send them by mail to Gorazemye. One of the parcels, by a lucky coincidence, falls in the highlands - a small country where only a few small houses are located. Residents of the town leave the boy at home and give him the name Jim Button.
Ten years have passed. Jim hopes to find out the truth about his background, country, parents. Together with his friend Luke, he embarks on a journey on a special locomotive named Emma.
Positive heroes
There are good and bad heroes in all the Jim Button episodes. Of course, the first in the cartoon is much more.
The cutest and funniest hero is Jim Button himself. He can neither read nor write, but he draws very well. As mentioned earlier, Jimโs best friend is Luke. He is a machinist, and replaced Button with his father. The hero is very brave, and also loves to improve his locomotive Emma. He comes up with all sorts of different possibilities for a steam locomotive. For example, she already knows how to ride on water, as well as fly in the air.
Spectators are also introduced to the young princess Lucy. She meets Jim Button on a pirate ship. The girl, like many other children, was kidnapped for the dragon queen. The heroine immediately falls in love with Jim when he tries to save her from a pirate ship.
Jim also meets with Emperor Mandala Pung Gin. This is the father of young Lucy, who is simply heartbroken. The ruler differs from many in his sincere kindness and sentimentality. At the same time, he is very wise.
On a journey, a half-dragon named Nepomak joins Jim and Luke. He saves the main characters, for which he is kicked out of the house by his brothers. Then Nepomak decides to help the main characters also in saving the princess. The button also gets acquainted with Ping Pong, Kigu, Tour Tour.
Negative characters
In the first season of โJim Button,โ Mrs. Skalozub, the ruler of Highlands, is considered the main villain. However, Jim was able to show kindness to her, which greatly influenced her.
Also in the animated series you can see Pi Pa Po. He is the insidious Prime Minister of Mandala. He participated in the abduction of Lucy, hoping that her emperor father would not be able to rule the country. Then all power would pass to him.
Also, the main characters repeatedly encounter the Devil's Dozen - pirates who are involved in the abduction of children for Mrs. Skalozub.
