Character Biography

Django's childhood passed on the planet Concord Dawn: he, along with his parents and other families, was among the first colonists. After killing his loved ones, Fett joined the Mandalorian warriors, where he began his training under the supervision of Justin Meryl. Having achieved the desired results, Django left the opposition group and turned into a bounty hunter.

Soon, the entire underworld knew the name of Fett as a first-class mercenary with a brilliant reputation. He began to receive offers from many influential bosses. However, Fett was guided by the Mandalorian honor and did not want to fight for the mean and greedy employers.

A few years later, a meeting between Django and Count Dooku took place, during which Fett received a rather interesting proposal - to play the role of a donor for an entire army of clones.

The fact is that the mercenary had already encountered the Jedi and defeated them, so his candidacy for donation was considered the most suitable. In addition, Django took part in several attempts on the life of Senator Amidala. After another failure, Fett eliminated Zam Vesel, using a poison dart for this purpose. It was on this dart that the clone factory was calculated. Fett had to enter into a difficult, but short-lived duel with Obi-Wan, after which he took refuge in Geonosis.

Death

In his last fight, Django Fett opposed Mace Windu on Geonosis. Before this, the mercenary managed to deal with several Jedi at once, but Master Windu was much more experienced and stronger than his opponent. With his lightsaber, he chopped off Fetta's hand and then his head.

After the death of Django, his ship and armor passed to Bob Fett, who took an oath to take revenge on the Jedi.

The connection between Django Fett and Bob Fett

Django Fett

The character of Bob Fett was first introduced to the audience by the classic trilogy. Despite the fact that many took him for the son of Django, in fact this is not so. Boba Fett is an unmodified clone of Django, which is its exact genetic copy. When the mercenary agreed to become a donor for Dooku, he demanded not only money, but also his own clone. Django raised him as his own son, teaching young Bob all his skills, knowledge and hatred.

Character Appearance in Star Wars Films and Other Projects

For the first time, Django Fett appeared on the screens in Attack of the Clones, the second film from the prequel trilogy. This was his first and last appearance in the entire film franchise. Viewers are introduced to the character through Obi-Wan when he arrives at Camino investigating the Padme attack. A little later, in the story, Django Fett appears on Geonosis, where during the last battle he first loses his arm and then his head. Throughout the film, viewers could see the real face of Fett.

The image of Django Fetta continues to appear in third-party projects to this day. Basically, these are games created based on the movie universe of Star Wars, but other projects are also found. So, for example, the popular game The Witcher 3 pleased the players with a wide variety of references to popular characters. Django Fetta and The Witcher are connected by a funny Easter egg on Skellighe Island: near the village of Balandare, Geralt meets a mercenary who can be given a task. The mercenary appears under the name Django Frett, which is a direct reference to the bounty hunter from Star Wars. The fact that Frett considers himself the best of the best also hints at the image of Django.
