Choi Hong Hee was born on November 9, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen. He, while still very young, studied Setokan-karate-do. After long and hard work he received a black belt. A little later he was a member of the national liberation movement of Korean students, which is why he spent several years in a Japanese prison. Choi Hong Hee was released only after the surrender of Japan.

Taekwondo Kicks

The most effective in this type of struggle are kicks. Nevertheless, kicking in Taekwondo is very difficult and dangerous for the one who inflicts them. The reason for this is the transfer of the entire body mass in the process to the supporting leg, due to which the position of the attacker becomes less stable. The names of kicking in Taekwondo are very diverse, incomprehensible and at first glance do not carry any meaning. This is because they sound in Korean. If you use the translation, then everything will immediately become clear. Now let's move on to the types of kicks in taekwondo and analyze each of them in more detail.

Source rack

All kicks in taewondo are from the same rack. It is called Ap Sogi. Hands are in front of you, slightly bent at the elbows. One leg in front and the other slightly behind the torso. Impacts should always start with the right foot. In order to change legs, just make a small jump in place and, being in this movement, change the location of your legs.

Kick Up Chaga

This is a straight kick in taekwondo. Before you strike, you must accept the original stance. After that, the right knee rises forward, and the whole leg straightens up. The blow should be performed at the level of your head, which is pretty high. At the β€œend” point of impact of Ap Chaga, the leg should be fixed. Kick Tole Chaga

In Taekwondo, this is called a kick from a U-turn. Start from the starting position of Ap Sogi. Now your knee rises in front of you, after which it turns so that the leg is perpendicular to the floor line (or almost perpendicular). During a U-turn, it is imperative to deploy the toe of the support leg, which you are standing on the floor. Without this, you will not be able to deploy your body, and this is also very important. After the turn is completed, a blow is applied with the legs straightened forward. Now that the strike is deemed to have been completed, you must return to the starting position. And for this it is necessary to turn the body body again, turning around on the toe of the supporting leg.

Kick Nere Chaga

This is another straight leg kick. While in the original stance of Ap Sogi, lift your straight leg up, and lower it after striking. At that moment, when the leg rises up, its toe should be pulled on you, and vice versa, when your it drops, its toe should stretch down towards the floor. Raise your leg to the level of your head. In this case, the housing must be kept level. When you lower your leg down, move the body back a little.

Kick Ildan Ap Chaga

This strike is performed in much the same way as the first strike called Ap Chagi. But in this case, we first raise the right leg with the knee up, and after that, bouncing on the other, left foot, we strike it with the Ap Chaga at that moment when the body is still in a jump.

Kick Nere Chaga

Kicking the Nere Chagi is a double kick of the Tole Chagi in the air with two legs. That is, first a right kick is applied to the Tole Chaga with the right foot. After this, a jump is made, and the attacking leg changes in the air. Also, in the air with the left foot is repeated the hit of Tole Chaga.
