early years

Yuri Lakhin was born July 23, 1952 in the city of Zaporozhye. Here the boy spent an insignificant part of his conscious childhood, because very soon the family moved to the Urals. The young man received excellent education and a quality education. However, for a long time he could not decide on the final choice of a future profession. Only in high school, Yuri Lakhin decided to become a professional actor.

After graduating from school, the guy did not dare to go in search of his own calling in the capital. Instead, he moved to a more modest Yekaterinburg, where he became a student at a local theater school. After graduation, the young man had no problems finding a job and almost immediately began to appear on the scene.

Theatrical activity

In 1979, the aspiring actor Yuri Lakhin joined the troupe of the Sverdlovsk Academic Theater. As it turned out later, here the artist was destined to spend as long as 11 years. During this period, our hero was entrusted with the main roles in dozens of popular productions.

In the early 90's, Yuri Lakhin, who had already established himself as an extremely talented actor, decided to move to Moscow. The reason was the invitation of the artist to the troupe of the Theater on Pokrovka. Soon, Lakhin received the post of assistant chief director of the creative site. However, the actor played here only 5 years. He got mainly roles in productions of classical works.

Currently, Yuri Lakhin is one of the stars of the Satyricon Theater, the artistic director of which is the outstanding Soviet artist Konstantin Raikin. Despite his venerable age, the actor regularly enters this scene, delighting the avid theatergoers with his magnificent play.

Yuri Lakhin began acting in films in 1973. During this period, a rather famous theater artist was invited to the role of Vasily Kruzhilin in the television series “Eternal Call”. In the picture, the young actor played one of the members of the Saveliev dynasty. According to the plot of the tape, for half a century, family representatives have to go through the most epochal events in the history of the country, starting from the First World War and ending with the period of collectivization.

Critics consider the image of counterintelligence Chusov in the military detective film “Liquidation” to be the best role of Yuri Lakhin for his entire career in Russian cinema.
