Childhood
Boris Khimichev was born in the village of Balamutovka (Ukraine) in 1933. The boy was not in good health and often sick. With 10 years, Boris began to do gymnastics and exercise with dumbbells. It helped the boy get stronger. And already in his student days, the young man took up winter swimming. It allowed Khimichev to forget about diseases for many years. We will return to the secrets of his health and good shape at the end of the article ...
Study
After graduating from school, Boris Khimichev entered the University of Kiev at the Faculty of Mathematics. But, having studied several courses, the young man decided to drastically change his life and try himself in the acting field.
In 1960, Boris came to Moscow and applied to several theater schools. This strategy has worked. Khimichev enrolled in the Moscow Art Theater for Masalsky's course. At that time it was one of the most powerful classes of the capital. In the year Boris arrived, Vysotsky graduated from there. After graduation, Vladimir periodically visited his friend Seva Abdulov’s school, who studied on the same course as Khimichev. And four years earlier, Masalsky successfully completed the course. In class, she was often set as an example as an exemplary actress.
In his student years, Boris Khimichev, whose biography is presented in this article, was gloomy and unsociable. The first 10 years in the capital, the actor lived quite modestly. He dressed poorly and was very shy about it. Only in the seventies, when Boris was actively working in the theater and acting in films, could he afford to completely renew his wardrobe. Khimichev was even commissioned with two black velvet suits.
First love
When the press discusses the personal life of an actor, then, first of all, they talk about his many marriages. In fact, Boris was not a womanizer. Affected patriarchal education in the village. There, if he was in a close relationship with a woman, he is obliged to marry. So the numerous marriages of the actor are simply the result of a serious approach. In addition, in his youth, acquaintance with women was given to Khimichev with great difficulty.
Boris's first love was Tatyana Lavrova. Seeing her on the screen as Zarechnaya, he fell in love at first sight and could not find a place for himself. Soon, Boris Khimichev decided to write a letter. In it, he declared his love to Tatyana, but sent the message anonymously.
Soon, fate itself brought young people together. And the acquaintance grew into a beautiful romance. Lavrova immediately “figured out” Boris and showed him a love letter. Of course, the actor immediately admitted. And then the relationship suddenly broke off. Everything happened at the rehearsal of the training scene. Tatyana sat with the teachers in the hall and carefully watched the game of Khimichev, who tried very hard. After the end of the show, Lavrova immediately left. Boris went to her house. They didn’t open the door for a long time, then Tatyana’s mother came out and told the young man that her daughter no longer wanted to see him. Years later, the actor accidentally met Lavrov and asked about the reasons for such a rapid separation. Tatiana apologized and said that at that time his game seemed to her very mediocre.
First marriage and Mayakovsky Theater
In 1964, Boris Khimichev, whose personal life was very stormy, graduated from the Moscow Art Theater and got a job at the Mayakovsky Theater. He had his own “corner” - a back room on the top floor of the theater. Not very comfortable, but you won’t be late for work. Although once Boris managed to oversleep his output in Hamlet and nearly disrupted the play.
Over time, the young man arranged his life. The manager gave the actor the theater backstage with which he poured walls. Then Boris dragged the requisite furniture, and the house took on a bohemian appearance. It was not even a shame to invite girls. Soon Khimichev began an “attic” affair, which ended in marriage. But after a couple of months, the marriage broke up due to a lack of common interests.
Meeting with Doronina
Actor Boris Khimichev found out about Tatyana Doronina during his studies. And the acquaintance itself took place when the girl had already acquired the status of a movie star. On her account were two major works - “Three Poplars on Plyushchikha” and “Elder Sister”. Khimichev then played only a few roles in the theater, and his film career was just beginning.
Once Boris Petrovich received an offer to take samples in the film "Once Again About Love" (in the end, Lazarev got the main role). The actor arrived at Mosfilm, went into the dressing room and saw Doronina. The actress looked at Boris with an appraising look, mentoring, condescendingly carelessly. Khimichev did not like this, and Boris left the dressing room with burning cheeks. At the same time, the actor asked the assistant director to convey to Doronina that he would not try with her for this role and even more so to work in the future. Despite this statement, Tatiana still sunk into the heart of Khimichev.
Their next meeting was held at the Mayakovsky Theater. In 1967, his leader, Okhlopkov N.P., died. The head of the troupe was Andrei Goncharov, who decided to renew the team. Gundareva, Leonov, Dzhigarkhanyan and Doronina came to them. At that time, Boris temporarily worked in the theater of the Soviet Army and returned back at the invitation of the director.
They brought their first joint work closer to the production of “Long live the Queen!”. There were no bed scenes there. The only thing, Boris sometimes kissed Tatyana's hand. Of course, he did it with great pleasure. At that time, both Khimichev and Doronina were free, so an office romance became inevitable. In 1973, they formalized the relationship by playing a modest wedding.
Films of 1967-1982
Boris Khimichev, whose cause of death is indicated below, made his film debut in the film “Operation Trust.” The actor brilliantly played Lieutenant Artamonov. In the future, he was repeatedly invited to detective films, where Boris usually played negative characters (Black Triangle, Detective, etc.). But best of all, Khimichev managed “costume” roles. The fault was the natural texture of the actor. Stalin's service jackets, Onegin tailcoats, hussar mentics, chain mail sat on Boris like a glove. Khimichev also looked good on a horse. The actor himself explains this with genes: his father served in the cavalry.
Boris’s career went uphill: he starred in at least three films a year. True, the quality of the roles was not very high. The same Doronina starred in a dozen paintings, half of which were masterpieces. Khimichev, of all his roles, could not name such a five. This made him very sad.
1982 year
Boris Khimichev, whose filmography already numbered a couple of dozen paintings, had only one common interest with Doronina - work. In the theater, they were involved immediately in three performances. Very often, at breakfast, the couple discussed the details of the new production. On the way to the theater, they could talk about movie roles. Over time, the tension between lovers increased. The reason was that both of them were restive, hot-tempered and temperamental people. And at some point, the couple realized the need for parting. The divorce was filed in 1982.
In her interviews, Tatyana Doronina spoke of Boris as the most economic, attentive and gentle husband. Khimichev did the same, calling the actress a talented, intelligent and extraordinary woman. In fact, the former spouses were very different. Tatyana liked white, and Boris liked black. She was rational and cold, and he was explosive and hot. This was one of the main reasons for the breakup. Immediately after the divorce, the actor went to work in the Moscow City Council theater. It was very difficult for him.
80s - 90s
Thanks to his textured appearance, Boris Khimichev was in great demand among many directors. Moreover, the actor easily played both positive and negative (corrupt general from the "Hunting Season") role. Boris Petrovich considered The Desire of Love, Fathers and Sons and Prince Yuri Dolgoruky to be the most significant works of those years. The actor was especially proud of the role of the prince.
last years of life
Boris Petrovich Khimichev was married five times. With the last wife - Galina Sizova, the actor lived for 15 years. In his interviews, Boris Petrovich repeatedly stated that he was grateful to fate for such a woman.
In the last years of his life, Khimichev looked wonderful - toned, slim, without fat folds. The actor claimed that he had forgotten about the disease. How did he succeed? Everything is simple. In the morning, Boris Petrovich practiced with dumbbells, did not eat breakfast. Then a hearty lunch and a light dinner. Over the past 30 years of his life, Khimichev went hungry twice a year (he drank only water). The first 2-3 weeks of fasting began just before Lent.
The actor died in Moscow in 2014. The cause of death is inoperable brain cancer. Boris Petrovich was 81 years old.
