American actor, choreographer and dancer Robert Hoffman was born on September 21, 1980 in Gainesville, Florida. He was the eldest child in the family, helping parents raise the younger ones - brother Chris and two sisters, Lauren and Ashley.
Talent
Back in Gainesville, little Robert went to kindergarten, where teachers taught children dance. Especially the future actor liked to watch the clip of Michael Jackson Thriller. When Robert grew up, his parents sent him to an art school, where he was trained in the class of modern dance. Then Hoffman was accepted into the Ballet South group, which at that time was led by the legendary Wes Chapman, the new wave choreographer. Robert turned out to be a talented dancer, worked under a contract with Christina Aguilera, Enrique Iglesias, Marilyn Manson. Dubbed pop singer Ricky Martin when he created his own video clips.
Dancing
Among other things, Robert Hoffman was in demand as a choreographer, as he possessed the natural talent of a dancer. He was distinguished by flexibility and plasticity, which created the impression of elegant refinement. Robert could improvise on stage for half an hour and never repeat himself. As a dancer, he adhered to the classical school, but this did not stop him from receiving prizes for performing in hip-hop style.
Training on tatami
Passion for dancing made Robert go in for martial arts, he wanted to develop his body, give him more flexibility. Having received a black belt, he left the tatami and did not return to sports anymore. Then Hoffman became interested in making horror films in Hitchcock fashion. He assembled a team of like-minded people, and together they began to shoot “horror films”, pouring liters of cherry juice, which was supposed to represent the blood of innocent victims, onto an improvised set. After Robert and his comrades pretty scared their friends and relatives, the shooting stopped.
First roles
When Robert Hoffman began to work in cinema, he immediately won the National Choreography Prize for his participation in the film "Street Dance". Periodically, films appeared on the big screen in which the dancer played various roles related to the art of dance. The dirty Dances-2: Nights in Havana, Guess Who?, Gigli, Justin to Kelly, Coach Carter paintings were popular with the audience thanks in large part to Hoffman's dance numbers. The screenwriters and producers of Hollywood immediately realized that a talented choreographer can be used in staging films similar to those in which Fred Astaire once shone. Robert Hoffman, whose films the audience liked, did not mind such projects. He could be shot endlessly, energy was in full swing.
Robert and Briana
Robert Hoffman has shown himself to be a universal actor. He devoted part of his time to working on television, starring in various television series. Among his works were the crime plot "Vanished" and the Wild N'Out show, the serial "Aliens in the Attic", "Mushrooms", "She is a Man", "Step Forward-2: Streets". In the last film, Robert showed himself as a good performer of dramatic roles. He played a student at the Chase Collins School of Art, who met Andy (her role is played by the young actress Briana Evigan), and mutual attraction arises between them.
Young people create a team that must participate in street competitions. All action takes place against the backdrop of nascent love. In this film, viewers saw a dancer in the role of a young man in love who longs for reciprocity and ultimately gets it: Andy responds to his feelings.
Creation
Robert Hoffman, films with the participation of which viewers are waiting impatiently, manages not only to appear in TV shows. He opened his own project on the site Punchrobert.com, where he places his copyright videos about the fantastic characters that he himself invented. Hoffman's short sketches are shown on CW.
Personal life
The actor’s spare time is not enough, he tries to use his free minutes to good use, goes to gyms, swims in the pool. Robert Hoffman, whose personal life is active and saturated, is not yet bound by marriage and does not seem to be striving for this. Sometimes attends nightclubs, occasionally sports competitions, sailing regattas or horse racing at the hippodrome. Robert Hoffman and his wife (future, of course), and then the children will never sit at home, given the super-active lifestyle that the dancer leads today.
At one time, viewers considered the partner of the actor in the film "Step Forward-2: Streets" - the charming dancer Briana Evigan - his possible passion. It all started with the fact that Robert and Briana received a joint prize in the nomination "Best Kiss" at the MTV Movie Awards-2008. However, it soon became clear that the relationship of this couple was purely friendly. The audience instantly lost interest, and the gossip ceased. Robert Hoffman does not meet with girls and thus does not give journalists a reason for gossip.
