This film is a continuation of the film of the same name, shot in 1982. Then, in 2019, the world was filled with replicant robots, which in appearance did not differ from people in any way. But these robots could not take the position of a real person and a member of society, so they were used, so to speak, for the most dirty purposes.
Actors of the project "Blade Runner 2049" fully and even more justified the expectations of film critics. Their game is impeccable and believable, and not for a second makes it possible to doubt the professionalism of the actors.

Surprisingly, the 1982 picture looks quite watchable, and Ridley Scott, who then acted as a director, did his best. The actors are perfectly matched, which is what Harrison Ford is worth as Rick Deckard. And the sweet and tender Sean Young turned into the unique Rachel, who made up the party of Rick Deckard. But first things first.
In the near future, genetic engineering has achieved unprecedented results, and scientists have managed to create humanoid robots. These robots were used for dangerous and dirty work to save a person from unjustified risk. They did not have intelligence as such, but there were exceptions. The fact is that the replicants had a limited shelf life, and at some point they turned off.
But the new generation robots differed quite seriously from their predecessors. By way of thinking and introspection, they began to realize the essence of what was happening, and realizing that they were soon to be disposed of, they went on the run. Thus, a cleaning group was created to capture the rebellious replicants. One of these groups was led by Rick Deckard, who should catch four dangerous robots. But everything turned out to be more serious, because Rick could not even think that he would fall in love with the beautiful Rachel, one of the robots.

It is worth mentioning that in the past, replicants staged many riots, and many of them managed to disappear without a trace, so the release of artificial people stopped. But a certain Wallace revived what was left of the Tyrell corporation, and began to re-produce robots. The hunt for the old line of cyborgs did not stop. Incidentally, replicant hunters were called the codeword Blade Runners.
The protagonist Kay is one of the replicants. He is from a new generation, and created for the hunt for fugitives. Its task is to track down and deliver to the base a robot of the old production, in extreme cases, destroy it. Once a trail leads Kay to an old farm. He accidentally stumbles upon the remains of a person and sends them to the base for study. After several analyzes and studies, it becomes clear that the girl who died during childbirth was dead. However, an incredible secret is revealed when a bar code is found on the skeleton, which was set only for robots.

One and perhaps the most striking was Ryan Gosling, who impeccably performed the role of Kay, the hunter for replicants. On the one hand, the character of Gosling is a soldier who must clearly and impeccably follow instructions and follow orders, and on the other, he is practically a person who often thinks about things unusual for the robot.
Well, how could it be without the incredible Harrison Ford. In this part, he returns to history to give answers to the questions that Kay is so worried about. After all, it becomes clear that the replicant girl was able to get pregnant and give birth to a baby who should be exactly 30 years old at the moment, and Kei is tormented by the thought - is he not the child born thanks to a miracle? No less significant actors participated in the film "Blade Runners 2049", in addition to the main star cast. So the role of Joy, the holographic girl Kay, was performed by the beautiful Ana De Armas, recognizable by the films “Daughter of God” and “Boys with Trunks”.
And the famous and sought-after Jared Leto embodied the role of the villain Wallace, trying to understand the secret of procreation among replicants. Robin Wright, known for such famous films as Wonder Woman, Justice League, Forest Gump, played Lieutenant Joshi, who is firm and unshakable in her principles, and was very organic in this role.
