The first part of "The Ghost Rider" has rightfully taken its rightful place in the list of Marvel films. And this is a huge amount, judging by the cost of shooting a mystical action, which amounted to about one hundred million dollars.
But the second part failed to smithereens ... But this is only in the native States, which, to put it mildly, took the picture coldly. The budget of the second “Racer” was only 57 million and raised about 51 million dollars in the USA, while in the world the picture earned almost 150 million. These figures are far from the first part, but still give a chance for the continuation of a ghostly story.

Where did the Phantom Racer come from?
Johnny Blaze is a stunt motorcyclist who works with his father. One day, Johnny finds out about his father’s fatal illness and makes a deal with the Devil himself, in order to save his beloved father. Father is saved, the disease receded, but soon he still dies during the performance of the stunt. Blaze is furious because the Devil has tricked a naive guy. But nowhere to go, the contract is concluded: according to him, Johnny is obliged to send human souls to hell. Biker decides to hunt for bad guys and thereby pay off the devil.
Over the years, Blaze becomes an invulnerable motorcycle racer who is not afraid of the most dangerous stunts and injuries. People are surprised at the ability of a biker, but only Blaze knows at what price he was given this gift. At this time, a coup takes place in hell, and the son of the Devil decides to overthrow his father. Johnny Blaze is drawn into the very center of mystical events.
Is there a release date for Ghost Rider 3?
It has already been said above that the second "ghostly" picture did not live up to anyone's hopes. Critics unanimously ignored the new project, and moviegoers left completely unflattering reviews. All these facts put the trikvel's output into question. However, in 2013, the Marvel Film Studio bought all the rights to the Phantom Racer, which entailed a lot of questions and expectations. After the signing of the contract by the main actor Nicolas Cage, all assumptions about the filming of the new part were dispelled. Surely the release date for “Ghost Rider 3” was just around the corner, and the premiere of the film was literally on the nose.
It remains to resolve a few more questions about the financing and the scenario, which is not yet fully written. But the fact that Cage appeared on the set in a leather jacket pleases all moviegoers who are looking forward to a new screening.

The plot is based on the confrontation between Blaze and the devilish forces. There is information that the infernal racer will transfer his abilities to a new hero - Daniel Ketch. In the history of comics, Blaze dies, so his powers move to another ghost. But these are only assumptions, since the script has not yet been completed - you can expect any ending you want.
