The Republican Dermatovenerologic Dispensary Ulan-Ude is a state-owned enterprise that provides treatment for patients with diseases of the skin, nails, as well as ailments that are transmitted sexually. Today the dispensary is the only licensed organization in the Republic of Mycology.
History
In 1924, the growth of sexually transmitted diseases was threatening, for the health of the citizens of the Republic of Buryatia, it was decided to open a skin and sexually transmitted diseases dispensary in Ulan-Ude. In just 4 months of work, more than 600 patients were served.
In 2014, the hospital introduced the use of hirudotherapy (the use of leeches) for the treatment of patients suffering from thrombosis, high blood pressure, increased cholesterol, decreased immunity, edema and pain.

Patient reviews about doctors and the dispensary are very negative, starting from the threshold of the polyclinic building itself, where the bulk of people are admitted, ending with specialists. Citizens are not satisfied with the old, wooden building, slippery stairs, summer stuffiness in the corridors, cold in winter and long lines.
And the worst thing that patients note is the incompetence of the doctors of this institution, boorish treatment, familiarity, work "the old fashioned way."
