The semantic content of the film
Once a young guy Nikolai Kondratyev arrives in St. Petersburg in search of work. This was right after the October Revolution. He became a worker at the Putilov factory. Then he began to guard the wine depots from marauders. Commissioner Sergeyev noticed the young guy’s grip after one fight and suggested that he join the ranks of the police, who had just begun their formation. Kondratiev and five more of his colleagues set to work. His first investigation was the robbery and murder of a collector. During the investigation, Nikolai meets with his future wife Masha. She was a noblewoman and a graduate of Smolny University. Masha had to participate in one investigation as a witness.
Each film series has its own plot. Kondratiev has to work with various criminal cases. Together with the former detective of the tsarist police, Kolychev, Nikolai developed a plan to capture the sinister bandit Lenka Panteleev in the 1920s. In 1929, Kondratiev and his wife Masha went to their native village. There he fights against kulak gangs and investigates the mystery of the death of his parents. In 1932, Nikolai was looking for a criminal in Leningrad who had stolen the salaries of workers at the Putilov factory. After some time, the detective is looking for the killer of engineer Slaykov. During the war, Kondratiev engaged in looters, alarmists and enemy saboteurs. In the postwar years, bandits in the train killed Masha, Nikolai’s wife, he is looking for criminals.

A wonderful investigator was played in the film by Eugene Zharikov. More recently, the actor, unfortunately, died. Masha Korableva, his wife, was perfectly played by Natalia Gvozdikova in the TV series “Born of the Revolution”. The actors and roles of the picture are generally very memorable. Nikolai’s colleague, Alexei Bushmakin, was played by Victor Shulgin. The film starred the actors used by the Bulls in the movie "Some Old Men Are Going to the Battle". Novel on the set
The film "Born of the Revolution" became the hallmark of Evgeny Zharikov (Nikolai Kondratiev) and Natalia Gvozdikova (Maria Kondratieva). Initially, 30 candidates were considered for the role of Kondratiev, but the director Kokhan stopped at Zharikov. He himself found a partner, Natalia Gvozdikova, in whom he was already in love. During the filming, no one even suspected the novel of Zhenya and Natasha. Soon Natalya became pregnant, and their son was born. The actors became husband and wife, spent a long married life. More recently, Eugene died, but the memory of a wonderful actor remained.
