The melodramatic comedy “Fans for Breakfast Don't Stay” (actors: A. Fischer and K. Ullman) of the German director-producer Mark Rotemund is a solid and far from trivial film with skillfully accented dramatic episodes on rather trivial and littered media topics - idols and fans. From the first minutes of timing, the watchers have a steady belief that the picture will be easy, interesting, understandable, moderately cheerful, even a little chaste - and this feeling does not leave the viewer until the very end.
Plot
The main character, seventeen-year-old Leela (promising actress and pretty girl Anna Fisher) spent the whole year in the USA under a student exchange program. Returning to her homeland, she is trying to adapt to the changes that have taken place both in society and in her family. During this period, the youth group Berlin Mitte gained popularity in Germany, the soloist of which is the spectacular guy Kritz (a worthy young actor with a typical German appearance, Kostya Ullmann). All teenage girls go crazy over him, and Lila’s own younger sister, who, along with like-minded people, guards the singer near the hotel and the venue, was no exception. Fanatical enthusiasm knows no bounds, girls show devilish ingenuity and go to any tricks to meet their idol. But fate wished that the heart and soul of the young talent was stolen precisely by Leela, who at the time of her acquaintance did not suspect who was in front of her. The comedy “Fans for Breakfast Don't Stay”, the actors of which immediately after the release of the film became the object of worship of inspired viewers, is quite realistic.

Great cast
One of the merits of the filmmakers is a brilliantly selected casting cast. It is thanks to the young stars of German cinema in the cinema that inner charisma is felt. Everyone, including minor characters, looks very sincere, not afraid to seem ridiculous or short-sighted, which, coupled with the romantic component, gives a cute charm and charm to the project “Fans for breakfast do not stay.” The actors who played the main characters did an excellent job of their task, despite little experience. They completely conveyed the director’s idea to the viewer, so the film turned out to be realistic and relevant. Anna Fisher, although apparently not a fatal beauty, but a charming actress. Her trump card is unsurpassed charisma. Kosta Ullman should also pay tribute, he plays sincerely, attracting with his naturalness and unthinkable charm. To all the same guy chic singing.
Another Cinderella Story
The film “Fans for Breakfast Don't Stay” is striking in its lightness, optimism and romance. The plot is based on the ever-popular "Cinderella Story", but in this film project the main character not only fell in love with the prince, but was also able to keep him from all ills and adversities in spite. The script of the picture, by and large, describes everyday life situations from the lives of ordinary people. In general, the stars of the stage are also people, with their aspirations, desires, emotions. They, like everyone else, do not have power over their feelings and do not choose who and when to fall in love with.
Moral promise
In the film “Fans for breakfast do not stay”, the actors of which, in fact, are still children, there are no scenes of abuse, violence and vulgarity, so it can be safely recommended for family viewing. All the components have this: an interesting exciting plot, high-quality production of almost all episodes, a decent game of actors. In addition to all of the above, in the work of Mark Rotemund there is a fair amount of good humor and an attitude to motivate people to strive and achieve their goals. The film will teach you to fight for love, regardless of social status, prejudice, distance and other obstacles.
Music
Music in the film also plays an important role, after all, the picture is about a youth musical group. Cinema has a very strong and impressive soundlist. It is almost immediately clear to all who are initiated into the diversity of modern musical trends that the Berlin Mitte is a cinematic "zakos" under the world famous Green Day. And the performed compositions have similar motives, and the soloist is made up like a real pop idol. The ambiguous impression is caused only by Frank Ziegler, the ex-vocalist of the Panik group, for whom this project was his film debut. He also sings damn good, albeit in a genre unusual for himself, but acting would be worth working with. The most memorable track can be safely called "Nicht ohne dich", which Lily sang Kritz. In the finale, happy lovers in a duet sing Chris Norman's song "Our love is alive and so we begin." This is a wonderful song, close to fans of German discos of the 80s. Moreover, the main character performs it better than her lover - the pop idol of teenagers.
