The correct design of the course work, recommendations

All students sooner or later get acquainted with writing a term paper. This moment in educational activity is very important, as it is one of the stages in the preparation of a graduation project. First of all, this is practical and research activity, here the student can not only apply his knowledge, but also include some creative elements, depending on the project topic. However, the design of the term paper itself is no less important, although this process is more technical. If the standard requirements that are imposed here are not met, then the teacher may not even take the labor to evaluate.

Firstly, it should be noted that this work consists of several structural elements that are hemmed together in a certain sequence. Without fail, the first is the title page, the numbering on which is absent, but is taken into account when further laying down the pages.

The volume of research is determined by the educational institution and the relevant department, and may vary slightly. However, this does not include applications and lists of literature that was taken for writing. The course design is done on a computer and displayed on sheets of white paper (only on one side). Here you need the font Times New Roman, the size of which is 14 points in the main text and 12 in the footnotes. Hyphenation must be set automatically, formatting all text and links β€œin width”.

The rules of the course design recommend introduction, list of references, conclusion, start a new chapter from a new page. Numbering is carried out starting from the third sheet, after the title and content of the work. Numbers should be located in the lower right corner. Headings are made in bold (the size is the same as the main text), placed in the center. After them, the point should not stand. Any hyphenation is also prohibited here, that is, the word at the end of the line must be left completely.

If the work has tables, diagrams or figures, then the course design is as follows. If they are small in size, they are left in the text, if more than a page, then they are taken out to the application. The diagram and figure are signed from the bottom to the center, the table is signed from the top left, by registering its number through a dash. If it is borrowed from somewhere, a footnote is made in which a reference to the original is indicated.

Equations and formulas from the text are allocated in a separate line. There should be at least a single space above and below. The equation that does not fit on one line is transferred to the mathematical sign (+, =, -, etc.), which is repeated two times (at the end of the first and the beginning of the second).

The course design provides for the correct writing of the list of sources used. This is a listing of those books, documents, websites that were reviewed to write the study. Here should be present from 30 items, which are placed in alphabetical order. In addition, the list should be written as follows. First indicate the regulations or other documents that were taken for work. Then books and monographs are written. After them come dissertations and periodicals. Lastly, foreign literature, electronic resources used are indicated. In this case, the author (compiler), the name of the work, the publisher, and the year of issue are fully indicated.

Material that complements the text is placed in applications. It can be large format tables, graphic material, any calculations, and more. They are necessary only when they supplement the content of the study, are for reference or recommendation.
