Osteoporosis is a chronic pathological process, one of the main manifestations of which is a decrease in the level of calcium in the bones, which leads to their increased fragility. Often, a person does not suspect that he is sick with osteoporosis, while with a seemingly insignificant load, a fracture does not occur. A feature of such fractures, in addition to their severity and suddenness, is a very poor splicing, which leads to a long-term loss of working capacity and disability of the patient. Mostly elderly people suffer from osteoporosis, but the symptoms of the disease can also occur in relatively young people of quite working age. This is due to the fact that some diseases, though not directly, but indirectly reduce the level of calcium in the blood, which leads to its resorption (leaching) from the bone tissue. First of all, these are various inflammatory processes - chronic bronchitis, frequent acute respiratory viral diseases, when calcium ions go to the focus of inflammation. Even ordinary chronic gastritis, which has been sluggish for many years and does not bother a person especially, and therefore, often untreated, is a serious obstacle to calcium absorption and eventually leads to osteoporosis.
Until recently, the main method for determining the level of calcium in the blood was the method of biochemical examination of blood taken from a vein, but not every person passed it with the proper frequency. Today, there is a modern research method that allows you to determine the level of calcium in the blood serum - this is the so-called osteodensitometry, when the bone (most often the hand) is simply translucent with a special apparatus (osteodensitometer) and the result is displayed immediately. Preventive medicine, which has recently received more and more attention, recommends conducting such a study at least once every six months. If the bone permeability is increased, then you must immediately start taking special calcium preparations, which are prescribed by the doctor.
Together with traditional medicine, treatment of osteoporosis with folk remedies can also be used. There are quite a few popular recipes for treating osteoporosis. For example, this one: the shell of hard-boiled eggs is finely crushed in a mortar to a powder state and filled with a 5% citric acid solution. For its preparation per 100 ml. boiled warm water we take 5 grams of dry powder "lemon". For every 100ml we take 15 grams of shell powder. We insist during the day and you can take 1 tablespoon. 3 times throughout the day before meals for 20 minutes. Treatment of osteoporosis with folk remedies can also be carried out with the help of herbal infusions. To do this, we prepare a mixture of equal parts of red clover flowers , medicinal herb sage, bare licorice root, aromatic grass chandra and sowing alfalfa . Pour 1 tablespoon of the dry mixture with four hundred milliliters of boiling water, infuse and filter for 30 minutes. Ready broth to use in a volume of 1 glass in the morning on an empty stomach for 1 month. Treatment of osteoporosis with folk remedies can also be carried out using natural metabolic stimulants, which include, for example, mummy. To do this, a small ball (about the size of a match head) of fresh mummy is dissolved in 50 ml of boiled water and taken in the morning and evening before a meal in 20 minutes.
Practice shows that when drugs are used that increase the level of calcium in the blood and alternative treatment, osteoporosis recedes much faster. In any case, it is necessary not to wait for such an insidious disease as osteoporosis to manifest in full force, but to conduct the necessary studies in advance and begin the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis with folk remedies and with the use of medications as soon as possible.
