Pimping is an illegal act

Pimping is the acquaintance of a man with a woman with the help of third parties. In Soviet times, people were called pimps who tried to bring them together without the desire of the couple to create a family. Now that it turned out that sex does exist in our country, this phenomenon has acquired a criminal connotation. Pimping is the selfish actions of pimps, intermediaries between participants in sexual relations. At the same time, the gender of citizens has lost value.

Legislative condemnation

After the collapse of the USSR, many unsightly facts from the life of society, previously hidden by the authorities, began to appear. It turns out that prostitution flourishes in the state, and its organizers are responsible. Punishment is required for pandering under articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation 240, 241, if it is proved that someone involved people in prostitution and organized points for doing it. However, there is no criminal liability for prostitution.

The service providers themselves in such cases are prosecuted by the civil law for administrative offenses - receipt of income from customers in cash or other equivalent.

Private tip

Who are they offenders?

In legal regulations it is indecent to call many things by their proper names. Therefore, pimps as actors in the laws are absent, they are simply called organizers when they qualify a criminal act. In practice, these are people who not only create points for the provision of sexual services, they deliver โ€œgoodsโ€. The choice of an ancient profession is not always violent; many go into this field of activity voluntarily.

Payment for services

What does the pimp do

Pimping without the main actors will lose its relevance. Brothel staff consists of pimps, security guards, and direct sex workers. Gender does not matter for any party in such establishments.

The prospector takes on the following:

  • protect prostitutes from violent clients, competitors and law enforcement;
  • control the process;
  • receive payment;
  • advertise activities;
  • guard on exit programs;
  • settle disputes;
  • provide premises.

Literature and cinema show the hard life and difficult fate of prostitutes, but their ranks are not decreasing.

Pimps are usually stern people who often raise their hand to naughty employees and use their services themselves. At the same time, they take all the earnings from the rebellious, obtained by hard work, for faults and violations of local orders.

The leaders of such points are both men and women. Often, one of the power structures covers them, receiving a significant jackpot for this from total revenues. Such actions are a criminal offense.
