Phlebology: what is it and who does it?
This science is a field of knowledge about diseases of venous vessels, as well as methods for their diagnosis, treatment and prevention. This disease is an inflammation of the wall of a venous vessel. Such a pathology most often develops against the background of varicose veins. At the same time, it gradually progresses as the number of affected areas of blood vessels increases. In the future, a constant inflammatory process can cause the formation of blood clots. In this case, they are already talking about thrombophlebitis.
Treatment of inflammatory vein diseases
Phlebitis can be treated both on an outpatient basis and stationary. Do not require hospitalization in patients whose inflammation affects only the superficial veins. Their specialist treats on an outpatient basis. The basis of phlebitis therapy is the use of anti-inflammatory drugs. At the same time, they are used both in the form of tablets and externally. An additional treatment is drugs that contribute to the speedy restoration of the venous wall. For the prevention of various thromboses, it is necessary to use drugs that reduce blood viscosity. The simplest of them is the drug "Aspirin". In order to prevent such complications, it is usually used in dosages of 125 mg or more.
Prices for phlebologists
Currently, Moscow already has a considerable number of centers specializing in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases affecting veins. In the capital of Russia, phlebology is becoming more accessible for the population. Prices due to ever-increasing competition are gradually decreasing, but the quality of the services provided, on the contrary, is increasing. Naturally, each phlebology center in Moscow sets its own prices for its services, however, at all (with rare exceptions) specialized institutions they are approximately at the same level. The usual consultation of a phlebologist will cost the patient in the amount of 1200 to 1500 rubles. At the same time, for a second appointment, if necessary, a person will have to pay less - from 1000 to 1200 rubles. In the event that the examination will include an ultrasound examination of the vessels, the cost will increase to 2000-2500 rubles.

More serious costs await those who are recommended to carry out one or another invasive intervention. At present, there are a great many ways to radically get rid of the same varicose expansion of the superficial veins of the lower extremities. A classic is a common phlebectomy. Now the prices for such an operation range from 42,000 to 65,000 rubles. It all depends on the degree of complexity of the operation and the specific medical center.
A fairly common technique for combating varicose veins is sclerotherapy. Depending on the amount of intervention, the cost of such a procedure ranges from 5 to 50 thousand rubles.
Somewhat less often (mainly due to the relatively high cost), radio-frequency obliteration is performed.
