Petr Koukal is a well-known Czech hockey player, playing role is the central striker. Currently playing in the KHL club "Motorist". He stands for the Czech national team, in which he became the triumph of the World Cup (2010) and the winner of the bronze award (2012).

Koukal Peter is a hockey player who was born on August 16, 1982 in the Czech city of Zdar nad Sazavou. In the family of doctor Frantisek Koukal and teacher Bozena Koukal. He was not the only child in the family; his older brother is a famous Czech skier.

From childhood, taking the example from his older brother, the future Czech national team player became interested in sports. According to Koukal himself, it was his brother who inspired him to devote his life to sports. He began to play hockey in the section of his native city and eventually moved to a special school for sports.
Even then, the coaches noted the speed and style of young Peter. After graduation, he successfully passed all entrance exams and entered the Institute of Physical Education, where he received a diploma of a qualified hockey coach. Who knows, maybe he is destined in the future to become a famous mentor.
The beginning of a sports career
The playerβs career began in the hometown team, but the athlete had to go to a more serious level. Therefore, Peter Koukal accepted the offer of one of the grandees of Czech hockey - the Pardubice club. It happened in 2001. Looking ahead, it is worth noting that Cowcal spent 11 years in this club (of course, there were several rental transitions, but the player always came back). As part of Pardubice, he became the winner of the national championship three times, and spent the last two seasons in the club with a captain's armband.
Only when the player was 30 years old did he decide to test his strength abroad and transferred to Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik playing in the KHL. As part of the new club, Petr Koukal spent 2 seasons and during this time managed to take part in 108 matches and score a total of 60 points.
In 2014, the player joined the ranks of the Finnish Jokerita, which was supposed to make its debut in the KHL championship. His new club took 5th place in the final standings, but Dynamo was knocked out by Minsk in the second round of the playoffs. During the season, Petr Koukal spent 66 matches, in which he scored 36 points.
The season 2015/2016, Koukal has already begun as part of Avtomobilist. In the first season, thanks to his experience, he won the trust of the coaching staff and became a first-level player. According to the results of the championship, Peter received good expert points. He took part in 65 games, in which he scored 42 points. At the moment, continues to perform for "Motorist".
