Alexander Kott is a modern Russian director. In just sixteen years of his creative career, he created about twenty works. Almost each of them attracted the attention of both critics and ordinary viewers.
Biography
Alexander Kott was born in 1972 in Moscow. He studied at the School of Aesthetic Education. For several years he worked as a photographer, participated in capital exhibitions. Then he entered VGIK, in the workshop of Vladimir Khotinenko. Alexander Kott also attended a master class by Polish director Andrzej Wajda. His first film work was the short film “Rope”. The full-length film in 2001 was shot by Alexander Kott.

But the main thing is that she is involved in the case of the theft of diamonds, which Shakhov is trying so hard to uncover. All his efforts were unsuccessful. Because the real criminal, the main organizer of the crime, is too close. Shakhov’s zeal costs him freedom, and his wife costs life. He is sent to jail. He returns to a completely different country. And only then he manages to solve this complicated matter. It is worth saying that the story that formed the basis of the plot of the Cott film remained unsolved.
