Veterinary certificate

Such a document as a veterinary certificate, is, along with a veterinary passport, the main one, allowing the transportation of an animal (or animals) by public transport.

Situations, in fact, may be different. Suppose you decide to take your cat or dog on a trip or send some animal products outside the city. Here you will need the same veterinary passport with all vaccination marks and a veterinary certificate (form 1,2 or 3). Let us consider in more detail several situations.

So, you are going with a pet. The veterinary certificate should be the first of the documents that you must take with the animal. This accompanying document will be required for all types of transportation: rail, road (by bus), air, water.

The certificate has a single sample and is issued only in state (not in private) clinics. You can take it in advance, but it is still better on the day of departure (or the day before). The animal is examined, diagnostics are carried out (luminescent), the veterinary passport is checked and the presence of vaccine marks in it (at least from rabies). The document is valid for only three days, starting from the day it was issued. In other words, when boarding the transport on the fourth day, the certificate will already be expired and you will have to return the purchased tickets. If you leave on the third day, then the certificate will be valid for the entire time until you reach the city indicated in the certificate.

The veterinary certificate will be invalid if:

- issued by an unauthorized person or organization;

- does not match the sample form;

- filled with a different font, different ink, different handwriting;

- has corrections;

- there is a discrepancy in the number of animals indicated and transported in reality;

- there is no seal (or its imprint is unclear);

- Missing signature (or illegibly written);

- a photocopy is presented instead of the original.

Falsification of evidence is unacceptable.

A full package of documents for a relaxing trip with your pet consists of a veterinary passport, a veterinary certificate and a ticket (usually enough luggage) for the pet.

Summarize. Veterinary certificate F1 is required when transporting any live animals and any biological objects that can be used for reproduction.

In addition to certificate F1, there are certificates of other forms:

- Veterinary certificate (form 2 or F2). It will be required for the transportation of products (food) and raw materials of animal origin;

- Veterinary certificate (form 3 or F3). It will be required for the transportation of non-food products, technical raw materials, live feeds.

These documents are issued only for goods received from enterprises, farms (farms) and past examination. Cargoes should be controlled by the state supervision and have veterinary registration certificates.

Veterinary certificate allows you to process, procure, transport, sell or store goods throughout the territory of the Russian Federation without any other veterinary documents (quarantine territories are excluded). In addition, such documents allow the export of goods outside the territory of the Russian Federation, being valid in the CIS and other countries.

When large batches of products are sold in parts at the same time to several consumers (in the presence of a veterinary certificate issued by the state service), the chief state lighting inspector of the district (city) may be allowed to transport these batches by stamps or marks in accompanying documents.

Validity period:

- F1 certificate - 3 days for animals, 7 days for fish, 15 days for zygotes, fertilized eggs, sperm;

- certificate F2 - 5 days;
- certificate F3 - 5 days.
