The entire central nervous system rests on the brain. This is perhaps one of the most important organs in the human body. But how is it arranged? The structure of the human brain is the most complex (compared to other living things). Gray matter consists of 25 billion neurons. And the brain itself occupies about 95% of the space in the skull. The remaining 5% is reserved for cerebrospinal fluid. Its absence indicates the presence of serious developmental abnormalities or a serious disease.
What is the structure of the human brain? The body consists of five sections, each of which is responsible for its functions in human life. The main departments include:
- medulla;
- midbrain ;
- hind brain;
- diencephalon;
- end brain.
The latter consists of the hemispheres that are known to everyone at the rate of anatomy. There are two of them. Each of them has its own βzoneβ of responsibility. For example, the right hemisphere is the center responsible for creativity and human development. The left controls the process of learning and cognition of the world. It is this hemisphere that is most developed in people with a mathematical
mindset. Creative people (artists, writers, designers and others) are guided more by the right.
The structure of the human brain is not limited to only hemispheres. The second component is the cerebellum. Without it, the human body would not be able to coordinate its movements. And indeed to control their physical activity. It is the cerebellum that is connected with the spinal cord, which allows a person to move on "autopilot". That is, what a child has learned in childhood is preserved for life. The exception is severe illness.
The structure of the human brain consists not only of several types of brain, but of other elements. So, the bridge transmits information between the hemispheres and the cerebellum. At the same time, he is also responsible for hearing. All the information that passes through the hearing into the brain passes through the bridge.
The structure of the human brain is very complex. So, the
diencephalon has two parts, each of which has its own function. The hypothalamus (ventral part) is responsible for the vegetovascular system and the correctness of its work. The dorsal part is responsible for the adequate perception of external stimuli and stress. It is the diencephalon that provides information about the external world in the hemisphere so that the person is comfortable. This helps to cope with all life situations.
The anatomy of the human brain is the most complex. No creature on the planet has such a structure of gray matter. That is why man is intelligent in comparison with the same monkeys. The brain is capable of not only storing information, but also analyzing, processing and comprehending it. The hemisphere is the center of the entire system of life. Its performance does not depend on the weight of the brain. For example, female gray matter is less than male by a couple of hundred grams. But this does not mean that the fair sex is dumber. It is known that a person uses for thinking only 30% of his brain, regardless of gender.
