Organized crime group "Tatars": history, leaders, crimes, defeat

The organized criminal group Tatars was one of the largest in Tatarstan. The association was the leader in Nizhnekamsk in the 1990s. Organized in the late 1980s. The members of the Tatars organized crime group in Nizhnekamsk were engaged in racketeering, the abduction of businessmen, and the killing of competitors. According to official investigation data, the merger accounted for 13 murders.

History

The creation of the association was closely linked to the fact that in those days youth fights were common in courtyards, which eventually grew into organized groups. Once a local precinct shot one of the members of the group. As a result, many young men from the yard gangs began to throw bottles at the police station.

Aggressive guys

Only with the assistance of special forces was it possible to calm the angry bandits. Many of them received terms, many of them were members of the future Tatars organized crime group. According to documentary films, among them were those who subsequently led the group. The leaders of the Tatars organized crime group are Ivan Strelkov, an assembler (Stneskekiriron, airport engineer, Afghan war veteran Alexander Miroshnichenko.

In the 1990s

In the absence of leaders, Ravil Timershin (Bubble) took over the power in the association. As soon as the shooter returned, Ravil was shot dead. Before Ravil came to power in the Tatars organized crime group, leaders were replaced one after another, dying in battles for power. Attempts by the investigation to bring Timershin to justice were unsuccessful due to lack of evidence.

Tomb of Ravil

At the same time, the group quickly took under its wing the largest enterprises of the city of Nizhnekamsk. The criminals stole fuel, the products of factories, those shop managers who protested against this situation were simply beaten and intimidated. As a result, “Nizhnekamskshina” was actually under the control of the bandits.

Enemies

The main enemy in this field for the Tatars organized crime group was the Mamshovskys association. They roofed markets, brothels, trying to divide the spheres of influence, but they could not complete this. A characteristic feature of the activities of the Nizhnekamsk bandits was the lack of ingenuity - they extracted money in simple ways. They traded in theft, maintained brothels, racketed. Businessmen knew about the cruelty of the Tatars ’organized crime group and, with clenched teeth, agreed to their“ custody ”.

Gang appearance

In the 1990s, documentary films about the group were already started. About the confrontation between the Tatars and the Mamshovskys, the film was broadcast on the Rossiya channel, along the First and Fifth.

Leadership

It should be noted that the shooter has not been a leader for a long time. He was convicted of extortion, and after, already in 1998, after several assassination attempts, they killed him. He was shot in the daytime in the village of Nizhnekamsk district. The version of law enforcement agencies says that Ravil Timershin was the customer. At that time, the group already controlled half of the entire Nizhnekamsk.

Sunset

Ravil was shot in 2001 by killers on a busy city street. This was the first sign of the imminent defeat of the Tatars. Leadership began to take on new faces one after another. For the most part they were killed. And then the gang members launched a real war.

In Nizhnekamsk

They began to kill their competitors throughout the city. When the thief in law Chicha pointed out to the gang that the Mamshovskys were responsible for the killings of the leaders, the war flared up even brighter. Mamshov managed to survive thanks to a happy occasion. More than a hundred bullets were fired into his car; they hit the windows of apartment buildings. Two of his bandits died next to him, and he, being in the back seat, crawled away.

At the same time, the most active investigative actions unfolded. 29 gang members were arrested, 11 were wanted. A whole arsenal of firearms was seized from members of the group.

Trial

For Nizhnekamsk of those years, this was the first legal case against an organized criminal group. But none of the Tatars organized crime group received a life sentence. 8 criminals fled before the investigation began. It is known that in 2005, 2006, 2007 and in 2015. several of them nevertheless fell into the hands of law enforcement officers.

The trial of the Tatars organized crime group became a high-profile case in Nizhnekamsk. But it is not known how exactly this affected the criminal situation in the city. Despite the active capture of criminals by law enforcement agencies, aggressive groups of young men still gather in the yards of Nizhnekamsk.

About killers

It should be noted that this gang did not have its own killer. Anyone could do the killing. But most often, Anatoly Urmancheev was engaged in similar matters. He was a lover of hunting, fishing. For this reason, he was well versed in exactly where to hide the corpses.

For gang members, human life did not mean anything. There were no fees for the killing. This was a common thing: eyewitnesses, and yesterday’s colleagues, and strangers were killed. For example, the gang got rid of witnesses of the assassination attempt on Mamshov, taking them to the forest, shooting and burying them. But after that, the organized crime group did not have time to kill anyone else.

Corruption

The gang managed to become closely connected with the local city authorities, law enforcement officers. So, the leaders of the Nizhnekamsk prison for taking bribes took members of the group, according to their wishes, to a sauna with prostitutes. Moreover, in one of the cases, the escape of the prisoner Suleymanov is noted. At the same time, particularly comfortable conditions were created for the gang members in the pre-trial detention center, since virtually all the police were bribed by them. While the most brutal measures were taken against insolvent prisoners. For this reason, police officers of Nizhnekamsk many times found themselves in the midst of scandalous cases. Their series continues: in 2014, another dismissal took place here for corruption.

Rout of the group

After the Tatars organized crime group organized an attempt on Mamshov, the gang itself was defeated by law enforcement officers. The trial of the group members lasted a year and a half. At the same time, the only one who pleaded guilty was Oleg Lazarev (Lazar). Munir Khabibullin was the last to be caught, he was sentenced to 20 years in a maximum security colony, detained in 2012.

OPG MEMBERS

The trial was remembered for many by the fact that a number of gang victims simply refused the charge. Businessmen stated that they slandered members of the Tatars organized crime group under the influence of the investigation. However, the court took into account the evidence of former members of the group who agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

According to official figures, the gang’s total revenue was $ 80,000,000. This money was earned on racketeering, drug trafficking. There were 29 people in the dock who were most directly involved in committing crimes. 28 of them were found guilty. The process of searching for criminals involved in the activities of the Tatars organized crime group continues to this day.
