An office is the face of a campaign, the coordination center for all employees, the representative body of a network organization, or the place of work of directors and managers. Each self-respecting company or organization at the interregional level in Russia wants to have a representative office in the capital. For small or start-up legal entities, it can be quite expensive to buy premises for offices. The Moscow City business center and many other business properties are ready to provide office rental services on a variety of conditions.
Classification Basics
Between the owners and among real estate agents, the business centers of Moscow and other non-residential buildings specially designed for offices are divided into several classes. This classification is very conditional and exists only for the convenience of choice, without rigorous evaluation criteria and controlling bodies over itself. Often, owners deliberately overstate a building class for commercial purposes, but in most cases real estate agencies combine structures with similar functionality and other parameters into common groups, assigning them a business center class.
Four classes or six?
Previously, the business centers of Moscow and Russia as a whole were divided into only 4 main classes: A, B, C, and D. Among the Class A buildings, there are mainly new business centers in Moscow and other large cities, built from modern materials in accordance with Western requirements for buildings of this type, while class D combines buildings that are not very suitable for offices, more suitable for production purposes, but popular due to price, free layout or transport accessibility. Moscow real estate experts apply a wider classification, which includes two additional subclasses in class A: A + and A-.
Works of modern architecture
Class A + implies not only a modern building, designed to fully provide all the necessary offices of the largest organizations, but also represents a truly original building. The most world-famous architects are involved in the design of most A + class business centers, buildings are often ennobled with special sculptural compositions, sometimes picture and photo galleries. Building and cladding technologies make it possible to realize the most daring decisions of designers, creating truly unique and convenient business centers in Moscow. The list of such magnificent office complexes includes:
The Imperial House on Yakimanka is part of an elite complex of residential and administrative buildings at 6 Yakimanskiy Lane, next to the Tretyakov Gallery;
Romanov Dvor is located near the Kremlin in Romanovsky Lane in house number 4;
"White Gardens" were built at the Belorussky railway station on Lesnaya street, 7.

These and other elite buildings were built in the XXI century and meet the highest requirements of both Russian and international companies. A + class difference, in addition to high-quality materials, is a convenient layout, well-thought-out engineering systems and technical equipment of each office, as well as a stylish, presentable decoration of all elements of the building from the facade to sanitary areas and recreation areas. The location of such business centers relative to the metro and transport interchanges is extremely advantageous, which also affects the quality and class of the building. All these buildings are located in the central district of the city or within the Third Transport Ring, their windows offer excellent views of the city, park areas and the coast of the Moscow River.
Other Class A Offers
These are one of the most interesting and original buildings of this type, but there are other elite business centers in Moscow. The list with the addresses of the most popular representatives of the premium class is as follows:
"Barkley Plaza" - a complex of elite office and residential premises at 17 Prechistenskaya Naberezhnaya;

Park Tower is an excellent Class A specimen located at 1st Krasnogvardeisky proezd, 1, p. 7.
Class B buildings
Not all organizations can afford the luxury of buying or renting an elite office. For companies with a lower budget, there are other offers, these are offices of categories B, C and D, which are ready to offer less presentable business centers in Moscow. List of Class B buildings below:
"Stankolit" - a business center on the territory of the same retail and office complex on Skladochnaya street, 1, p. 1;
Borodino Plaza business center, built in 2006 on 13 Rusakovskaya Street;
ultramodern Pollars - a business complex of three buildings on 11 Derbenevskaya Embankment ;

Platforma is a business center completely reconstructed in 2014 from a pre-revolutionary building in Spartakovsky Lane, 2, p. 1.
Buildings of category B and B + are built from reliable modern materials and meet the minimum European standards for structures of this class. Due to the lower prestige, the price of offices in such buildings is much lower, and some buildings combine the convenience of modern business centers with storage facilities or the environmental friendliness of the urban environment.
20th Century Heritage
Many administrative buildings in the 90s and 2000s were converted into offices. Such buildings do not fully meet modern requirements for life support systems and communications inside the building, but at the same time they provide favorable prices for tenants. In this price segment there are buildings of categories C and D. Research institutes, administration of factories and factories, and even converted warehouses and former workshops for commercial purposes provide office rental services. Often there is a system of corridors and rooms familiar from Soviet times, the infrastructure is kept at a minimum level, parking is most often spontaneous. Despite all these shortcomings, prices attract many representatives of medium and small businesses, and the capital is ready to provide everyone with the necessary office space. Moscow business centers, a list of which can be found in our article, as well as in special catalogs or on the websites of real estate agencies, are able to provide a wide range of offers for organizations for every taste and budget.
