In the film âPiranha Huntâ, the actors immerse the viewer in the cruel everyday life of the special forces instructor Kirill Mazur. The next task ended in a completely different way from what the main character expected. He is captured by the Siberian "prince", who has a bad habit of hunting on holidays. Only the minions of Prokhor hunt not for animals, but for real people ...
Vladimir Mashkov as Cyril Mazur
Mashkov first became famous in 1994. Then films with his participation âLimitâ and âAmerican Daughterâ appeared on the screens. The audience remembered this actor with mean facial expressions, but with some incredible charisma.
Over time, Vladimir Mashkov turned into one of the leading actors in Russia. Each project with his participation, fans waited with undisguised interest. And the artist, as far as possible, tried to surprise his viewer: either he plays Odessa with a funny accent by Gotzman, or the shameless thief Tolyan, or just a simple man in slippers who decided to meet an attractive girl on the streets of St. Petersburg.
In the film âPiranha Huntâ the actors Mashkov, Antonova, Garmash and many others are forced to hide from the hero Evgeny Mironov - the Siberian criminal authority Prokhor. Vladimir plays in the film a special forces instructor whom the FSB sends together with a chemical scientist to liquidate a secret laboratory on the border with China. Having completed the task, the commando Cyril and his partner accidentally get captured by the crazy Prokhor, who intends to play one of the most cruel games in the world with their participation.
"Piranha Hunt": actors. Evgeny Mironov as Prokhor
Evgeni Mironov once studied with Mashkov at the same course at the Moscow Art Theater School. Then the actors repeatedly appeared in joint projects: âDo-it-Once!â, âLimitâ, âIdiotâ, âAshesâ. The list also includes the movie Piranha Hunt.
Actors Mironov, Isakova, Merzlikin play members of the same gang. Prokhor performed by Mironov was once the son of a talented scientist who died in a catastrophe that happened in a secret laboratory. In adulthood, the hero of Mironov made a big fortune on criminal frauds. At the same time, Prokhor shows some unhealthy inclinations: for example, in the depths of Siberia, he contains a whole village, in which people consider him âkingâ and âGodâ. And when the local prince wants to have fun, he arranges a hunt. But not just ordinary animals, but real people. However, Prokhorâs plans this time were not destined to come true: Cyril Mazur, whom the businessman decided to hunt this time, would destroy first the entire team of Prokhor, and then himself.
Svetlana Antonova as Olga
The film âPiranha Huntâ was included in the filmography of such an actress as Svetlana Antonova. She played in the project the role of a military chemist Olga, who went with Mazur to the taiga.
Svetlana Antonova is the sister of Natalia Antonova, who is the star of Russian TV shows (âFreudâs Methodâ, âBreathe with Meâ). Svetlana herself was not very successful in the movie. It can only be seen in the series "Citizen Chief", "Sea Patrol", "Montecristo", "On the Hook" and "Youth".
Other role performers
In addition to Mashkov and Mironov, in the film "Piranha Hunt" appeared many fairly well-known artists. Sergey Garmash (Kamenskaya, Black Lightning) played the runaway recidivist Winter. He first also becomes a victim of Prokhor, but when the time comes, he tries to hand over the insane businessman Kirill Mazur for money.
Andrei Merzlikin, who starred in Boomer, Shaggy Fir Trees, and Molodezhka, played in the picture of Andrei Kavun, the staff captain who watches over the order in the Prokhorov village.
Victoria Isakova recreated a particularly colorful image on the screen . For the role of drug addict Sinilga Isakova, she bleached her hair and made dreadlocks for herself. In the middle of the film, Olga is killing Sinilga in a fight. After The Hunt, the actress met again with Mashkov on the set of the film Homeland. And although the plot of the series was written off from Israeli and American counterparts, the duet of Mashkov and Isakova still impressed the audience.
Mikhail Efremov (Thaw, Border. Taiga novel), Alexey Gorbunov (Kamenskaya, Sherlock Holmes), Anna Banshchikova (Domino Effect, Escape) were also involved in the film âPiranha Huntingâ. , Alexander Sirin (âLiquidationâ) and Anna Ukolova (âLeviathanâ).
