The sports career of this single-minded young man was predetermined long before his debut, and all thanks to his father. Children's years of the athlete
Alexander Panzhinsky was born on March 16, 1989. Such a joyful event for the family occurred in Khabarovsk. Sasha’s parents are athletes, masters of sports in cross-country skiing, so it’s not at all surprising that at the age of four the boy became the owner of his first medal. Having matured a little, Alexander Panzhinsky seriously took up his future. In this he was helped by his father, who coached the children's ski section, which was located at the local school at number 22. Today, the institution is called the Economic Gymnasium, and its walls remember the star guy.
Youth and the first confident steps in sports
At the age of fifteen, when there were already certain skills and a desire to strive for more, Sasha won the title of winner of the Russian children's skiing championship. Soon, school number 22, where the guy was still training, lost the opportunity to maintain a sports section, and the latter was decided to transfer to the balance of the regional sports institution. This moment was a new step for Alexander into a brighter future. Since the institution was supervised by the Ministry of Education, the students of the section got the opportunity to attend regional and all-Russian competitions. It was in the youth team that Sasha won expensive awards and managed to declare himself as a talented athlete.
A few years after the start of the races, the section of Father Alexander went to the sports committee, due to which the number of trips for awards fell sharply. No matter how hard Panzhinsky tried to break into the All-Russian competitions, the result remained unchanged - the financial situation did not allow to get close to the dream. Probably a little relaxed, in 2008 Alexander Panzhinsky knew the bitter taste of defeat. Participation in the Spartakiad among students brought him a shameful eighth place.
Naturally, such a result did not suit sports officials, and they hastened to declare Panjinsky's unsatisfactory performance. Moreover, all material support for the young athlete was discontinued. Perhaps this is the case that allowed Alexander to discover new frontiers for sports. Some time later, he was noticed by the capital's trainers, thanks to whose efforts Panzhinsky was invited to the Moscow school at number 81, specializing in children and youth training for athletes.
At first, Sasha's parents considered the invitation too soon, but realizing his son’s desire for big sport, they decided to let him go to Moscow. 2009 was extremely successful for Sasha. First, the young talent managed to win a gold medal at the Youth World Championships, which took place in France, and after him the Russian Championship also obeyed.
Meet the national team
After Panzhinsky took second place on the Krasnogorsk ski track in 2009, the Russian team became interested in him. In the same year, the athlete received an invitation to join the team. The debut was over, and in March of that year, Sasha appeared in the national team at the World Cup, which took place in Trondheim. Then Alexander Panzhinsky was awarded 136 places, and a year later he became fifth at the World Cup in Otepa. The latest victory was the best result in his career as a sportsman.
Selection for the Olympic team
Sasha managed to get into the Olympic team automatically. This event was preceded by a win against a serious rival - Mikhail Devyatyarov - at competitions in Krasnogorsk. The entry of the athlete into the Olympic team could not do without scandal. The press persistently called Sasha a Muscovite, which was immediately offended by the Khabarovsk trainers. However, this state of affairs turned out to be normal: when Khabarovsk officials refused to finance the guy’s further sports career, he was accepted by the capital, which made the guy a real star. In any case, today Panzhinsky considers himself a true Muscovite, he is happy to represent the hometown of the competition.

Despite such a young age and just beginning to climb the sports Olympus, Alexander Panzhinsky, a very talented skier, managed to change three coaches. As already noted, the first of his mentors was his own father.
Thanks to Eduard Panzhinsky, Alexander managed to overcome doubts that had repeatedly arisen in his young soul, and did not stop believing in his strength after an unfortunate loss. Another teacher of a promising skier is Nikolai Roskov, who is the coach of the youth team. The third coach of Panzhinsky is Yuri Kaminsky. The latter also acted as a mentor to Sasha on the eve of the 2010 Olympic Games. Perhaps it was thanks to Kaminsky's hard work that the young athlete managed to take the “silver” and make his own name sound to the whole world.
