The brightness and originality of the plot of the Spanish television series "Red Bracelets" were so captivating that literally in three years several remakes appeared filmed by filmmakers from the USA, Germany, Italy, Russia together with Ukrainian and even Chile. All television films are united by one idea and constitute a hymn to the modern generation of young people, which is designed to prevent mass culture, vice and vulgarity from destroying warmth and sincerity.
Original product
The original television series produced by Spain “Red Bracelets (leading actors: A. Monner, H. Vilapuzh, I. Spakovsky, M. Balager, M. Iglesias, N. Cardoner) in 2011 was the first to familiarize the audience with the life history of teenagers in the hospital. The script was written by a creative team of co-authors, among whom Albert Espinosa stood out behind the scenes, based on youthful memories of the time spent in the hospital. For 10 years, Espinosa himself struggled with an overcoming ailment, overcame it and found the strength to share his love of life with others through this television movie, the movie “Fourth Floor” and literary novels.
Beginning young actors were invited to the project. “Red bracelets” tell the story of six patients of the children's wing of the hospital. The first episode of the series introduces the viewer to an elderly patient Benito (actor Andre Benito), who will become a mentor, a kind of teacher for the future leader of the group Leo. - the oldest and smartest Tony was hospitalized with Asperger Syndrome; obeying youthful maximalism, in every possible way refuses to grow up, behaves like a small child - such a contradictory image was perfectly presented to the viewer by Mark Balager;
- the smallest patient in the group, Rock, became irreplaceable; he is in a coma, but communicates telepathically with Tony; on behalf of this character, the first season of the television movie is being narrated, so actor Neil Cardoner had to really work hard.

It just so happened that if Hollywood seek out a unique plot in a foreign film, they skillfully build their own story around it, not only making money on someone else's plan, but also acquainting the whole world with it. The dramatic comedy television movie Red Bracelets (USA, actors: G. Gluck, N. Sotillo, C. Rowe, Astro, S. Bravo), aired in 2014-15, was produced by a group of eminent Hollywood artisans, including and S. Spielberg. An American remake of the television project of the same name was created in the style of teen comedy and drama. The idea of Spanish television in the American version is shown in a language more accessible to US viewers, more charismatic young actors are involved in the project.
