Actor Yuri Kireev: biography, roles, photos

Yuri Ilyich Kireev - Soviet film and theater actor. He starred in such films as The Hussar Ballad, The Elusive Avengers, Give The Complaint Book, and many others. Mostly performed dramatic roles. Biography of Yuri Kireev

The actor was born on October 16, 1923 in Ukraine, in Novgorod-Seversky (the modern territory of Chernihiv). In 1941, the future artist graduated from high school in Moscow. In connection with the beginning of World War II, Yuri Kireev was enrolled in the artillery school in Chkalov (modern Orenburg) in 42nd. Then he was called up by the workers 'and peasants' Red Army.

Since December 1942, Yuri Kireev was at the front. He rose to the rank of lieutenant, also commanded a platoon of 1078 regiments. During the battle, in the 44th he was injured in his left, and in his right leg and shell shock. Kireev was sent to the hospital, where he was undergoing treatment until the start of the victorious 45th. Until the fall of the same year he served in the personnel department of the Moscow Military District and remained in the reserve of the Ural artillery troops. Further, demobilization followed and the beginning of an acting career.

Creative activity

Initially, he entered VGIK, the Faculty of Economics. Further, in 1946, he left this educational institution and entered the Shchukin school at the faculty of acting. The teachers of Yuri Kireev were Elizaveta Alekseeva and Honored Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Shikhmatov.

Upon completion of his studies, he was invited to the troupe of the Moscow Academic Theater of Satire, where he worked until 1951. His first scenic images were Igor Snezhkov in the play “A Man with a Name” and Muradi in “Grooms”. Then, Yuri Kireev became an actor in a theater in Germany.

Since 1953 he served at the Moscow Academic Drama Theater of the Moscow Soviet. He worked there for a year. Then Kireev was invited to the theater of the central group of troops, which was based in Hungary and Austria. In 1955 he entered the State Theater of the Film Actor (then it was called a studio). Yuri Kireev tried on the images of Florindo from “Servants of Two Masters”, Mulin from “Slaves” and many others. In the production of the story of Boris Nikolayevich Polevoy “About the Real Man”, he took on the role of the legendary pilot-hero Maresyev.

The actor has starred in more than fifty films. Not always played the main roles. Personal life of Yuri Kireev

In 1952, as a theater actor in Germany, the actor met a young English teacher Lyudmila Ilyina, who had an internship there. Between young people began a romantic relationship. Lyudmila became the wife of Yuri Kireev. In 1955, when the couple had already arrived back in Moscow, their daughter was born. They decided to call the girl Maria.

When choosing a profession, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and entered the Moscow Art Theater School. Maria graduated in 1980. In the movie, her roles were mostly episodic. The daughter of the artist also worked as a presenter on the radio. She married with actor Fadeev, Alexandra and took the name of her husband.

Yuri Kireev himself was a rather sociable and open person. As his relatives testified, he treated his family with great love, and enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter. His hobbies were fishing and photography. He memorized various poems and often read them in the circle of close people. Yuri Kireev was very negatively affected by the lack of demand in the cinema.

Unfortunately, the actor began to seek solace in alcohol, which affected his well-being. Yuri had a stroke, on the third day after the attack, the actor died. It happened on the tenth of March 1988 in the hospital where he was hospitalized. The actor was cremated, and an urn with ashes was buried in a necropolis near the Donskoy Monastery. Lyudmila and Maria died in 2006. A fire broke out in their home, resulting in a fire, in which women tragically died. The ashes of the actor’s daughter and wife rest next to him.
