MBOU secondary school No. 137 began its main career in 1932, as school No. 1. Initially, it was built for the children of the powder factory workers.
The government pursued an active policy of settling all parts of our country, and with the development of land there was a need to build a powder factory, preferably at the junctions of water and land routes, as well as the zone of maximum concentration of consumers. Kazan was ideally suited for its location - ammunition was delivered to Kama in different regions.
Initially, the company had a serious selection of people who were able to bear responsibility and had high experience. Verified soldiers and officers were selected at the plant. A little later, a specialized school was opened, in which the children of the employees of the enterprise studied the working profession. In 1963, she became school number 137 in Kazan.
One of its first directors was Filipov Pavel Yakovlevich. And the pride of the school and the object of respect is the Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot Nikolai Georgievich Stolyarov who graduated from it twice in his time.
