Myrkai lake is located in the Chelyabinsk region. Here you can relax only with "savages" with tents, go fishing, but swimming is only for lovers, more suitable lakes are nearby, this is Borovoye (it is popular because of healing mud) and Sugoyak. Let's talk about Myrkay in more detail.
Description of Lake Mirkay, Chelyabinsk region
The pond is almost round, its width is 2.5 kilometers, and in length it stretches for 3.5 kilometers. The average depth is 4.5 meters, the total area is almost 7 square kilometers.
The sandy bottom is characteristic only for the eastern side of Lake Myrkai, its western and southern sides are very boggy, the bottom is unpleasant muddy. Fishermen say that there are always a lot of algae on the surface of the reservoir, so swimming is not worth it.
The picturesque landscape is created thanks to the forest, which from the west consists almost of only birches, and on the other sides there are many bird cherry trees of different varieties - yellow, red and black. Without visiting the lake, it is impossible to know what a wonderful aroma is present on the territory during flowering!
Fishing on Lake Mirkay
Fishermen here can not interfere with the catch, since not everyone dares to swim in the thick of algae, you might think that the bite should be perfect. But, unfortunately, this is not always the case. Experienced fishermen call the waters of the lake moody, in order to get a catch, you need to work hard, spend a lot of time.
What can I say, fishing on Lake Myrkai (Chelyabinsk Region) is free, so you can spend your time waiting for the catch. According to Aboriginal reviews, biting is not necessary day by day, sometimes the catch is rich, and sometimes fishermen leave empty-handed.
Nibble practically does not depend on how to fish - from a boat or from the shore. If today is a “cool” day, then there will be fish; if not, come another time!
What can you catch in a pond?
Lake Mirkay is famous for such fish as:
- perch, which was "dragged" from Sugoyak;
- crucian carp;
- carp;
- rotan.
Perch is the most coveted instance of every fisherman who came to Myrkai. But at the same time, this fisherman is the most moody. Before you catch at least one representative of the breed, you will have to pull out a lot of different little things.
Perch was not always found in Lake Myrkai, here he is a migrant who arrived from neighboring Sugoyak. In the seventies of the last century, perch was artificially stocked here.
Experienced fishermen say that to catch a perch you need to be patient, and this patience can pay off with interest, because in the local waters there are specimens weighing up to one kilogram.
Rotan comes across here quite rarely, and pulling it out is a great success. But the capture of carp is a great joy for fishermen - this is the greatest rarity in a reservoir. The luckiest fishermen produced specimens weighing up to fifteen kilograms!
Hunting on the lake
In addition to fishing, here you can hunt. Mirkay Lake is famous for its many waterfowl, and they attract hunters from all over the region.
In addition to traditional birds, such as geese, gulls and ducks, there are:
- coot;
- bittern;
- sandpiper;
- crane;
- teal;
- mallard;
- pintail.
Due to the diversity of the bird's world, there is always a pleasant trill on the lake.
Rarely on the water surface are regal swans found. People come here not to catch them, but simply to admire, feed these beautiful birds. That is why families with children often come here in order to spend time in silence, solitude with nature, and enjoy the clean lake air.
To hunt on the lake, you need to visit the huntsman, whose house is located on the north side, near the shore.
How to relax on the lake?
Entrance to the reservoir is free, but not many lovers just go here to relax. Most often there are fishermen and hunters who deliberately came for prey.
Ordinary tourists, even if they wander here, do not stay for a long time, preferring to move to those lakes where you can swim enough.
If, however, there is a desire to come to the territory of this reservoir, then you need to stock up on tents, since there are no services for the delivery of houses on Myrkai.
How to get there?
Lake Mirkay is far from a poor reservoir, although you have to try hard, dozens of fishermen attack the coast and surface every day in any season. If you are interested in local fishing or hunting, then you can get here in the following way:
- The pond is located in the Krasnoarmeysky district. The distance to it from Chelyabinsk is 45 kilometers. You need to go from the center of the region as follows: from the Kurgan highway turn onto Miasskoye, towards Brodokalmak, then there will be a turn to Shadrinsk, from which about ten kilometers will remain to the target. The lake will be located on the right.
- If you leave Yekaterinburg, the path will be as follows: along the Ekb-Chelyabinsk highway you need to go to Kunashak-Muslomovo, there will be the Techa river, along which you need to drive about 20 kilometers. After that, the Miasskoye-Brodokalmak highway will begin, you need to turn right and drive about 15 kilometers. As in the previous case, you need to look for Lake Mirkay on the right.
