One December day in 1948, a girl of tremendous beauty was born in Sydney, Australia. She was named Sandra Colleen Waits. The childhood of the future actress passed in his hometown in New South Wales.
From a very young age, Sandra sought to test herself in an acting career. That is why, at age 12, the girl became a student at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Kensington, a suburb of Sydney. The acting lessons learned at the school have helped Kassandra a lot in the future. The year 1964 was marked for the actress by the release of the play Boeing Boeing.
The girl’s first film shootings began in the late 1970s, and in 1982 the first series with her participation was already released.

Pretty early, Sandra began to have a romantic relationship with the opposite sex. The first husband of a sixteen-year-old girl was William Firth. For six years, the husband and wife were happy in the company of each other, but 1970 was a disruptive year for the couple.
An outstanding blonde was alone after a divorce for only a few months. By the end of 1970, her companion was the Irish film producer Dermot Harris, who gave his name to the famous actress. Already in November, lovers played a wedding. Cassandra gave Dermot two children: Charlotte Emily was born a year after the marriage, and a couple of years later Christopher appeared. It will later turn out that a hereditary disease - ovarian cancer - will not spare the daughter of Cassandra and Dermot, and in 2013, Charlotte Emily will die at the age of only 41 years old. And son Christopher will choose a career as a writer and director.
However, the union of the actress and producer lasted only eight years. Cassandra Harris met her future husband Pierce Brosnan, which was the reason for the discord in the family. The brutal and charismatic James Bond so charmed a tanned beauty that she could not resist his charms, and from 1980 until the end of her days, Cassandra was the wife of Brosnan.

The "Bond" star behaved so noble that, having won the heart of his beloved, he invited her to enter into an alliance and get married. The solemn event took place immediately after Christmas - December 27, 1980. In addition, Pierce Brosnan adopted the children of Sandra from a marriage with Harris. For this reason, both Charlotte Emily and Christopher began to bear the name Brosnan.
The marriage of Cassandra and Pierce was a real take-off for the actress, not only in love, but also in a professional way. A year after the wedding with Brosnan, the couple together starred in one of the parts of "Bond": 1981 is marked by the release of the film "Only for your eyes." In this adventure thriller, which became the twelfth James Bond adventure film, Cassandra Harris played the role of agent 007.
Two years after the release of this film, the long-awaited son Sean appeared in the Brosnanov family, who also followed in the footsteps of his parents and became an actor. He began acting in 14 years - and the successful career of Sean Brosnan continues to this day.

In 1975, Sandra began work in the TV series "Space: 1999". The film was shot for more than three years - until 1978. Next was the film "Greek Tycoon", where the actress played the role of a girl with the same name - Cassandra.
The second and final series in which Cassandra starred was Remington Steel. She worked at the site with her husband, Pierce Brosnan. The shooting was carried out for five years - from 1982 to 1987.

Death
The life of young Sandra ended tragically in 1991. Unfortunately, medicine could not cope with a serious disease, so the cause of death of Cassandra Harris was ovarian cancer.
Oncological changes in the body of the actress were discovered in young years. And subsequently, the disease made itself felt. Sandra courageously survived eight operations that severely undermined her health. Pier Brosnan spent the entire treatment period with his beloved wife, and thanks to him, Cassandra Harris was able to transfer chemotherapy treatment.
However, all efforts were in vain. December 28th Sandra died. Pierce was experiencing a tragic loss. He visited his wife’s favorite garden and continued to talk with her there.
After many years, ovarian cancer claimed the life of Brosnan’s adopted daughter. As was the case with her mother, Pierce was constantly on duty near Charlotte Emily until the very last day. So the famous actor became a guardian angel for two beautiful women at once, who entrusted him with their fate and life.
