In the credits of modern films and on posters of Moscow theaters today you often see the name of the Dobronravs. Ivan Fedorovich, Victor Fedorovich and the head of the family Fedor Viktorovich - a strong acting dynasty. Talent, performance and amazing acting charm distinguish both the father and his two sons. It seems that acting in their blood. And how differently each of them embodies their unique gift to the public! The hero of our article is the junior representative of the star clan Ivan Dobronravov.
Family, childhood
The father of the young actor moved from his native Taganrog to Voronezh with his young wife Irina and his little son Vitya to study at the State Institute of Arts. After graduating from it, together with classmates, he created a youth theater in this city. Ivan was born just in this period, June 2, 1989. But the boy’s conscious childhood passed behind the curtains of not the Voronezh Theater, but the Moscow Theater, where Fyodor Viktorovich was invited by the artistic director of Satyricon Konstantin Raikin. This event occurred in 1990. After school, his elder brother Victor successfully passed the competition at the Shchukin Theater School, and Ivan dreamed about the theater. The boy saw what a tremendous return his father works on stage, and also became interested in Melpomena.
First stage experiences
Dobronravov Ivan Fedorovich - so, more with respect than a joke, the artists of the Satyricon addressed the boy, where he went on stage in small roles with his father. These were the performances “Servants and Snow” - the drama Iris Murdoch directed by Elena Nevezhina (Ivan’s name is on the playbill) and The City of Millionaires based on the famous play by Marriage in Italian by Eduardo De Filippo. Father saw the boy attracted to the stage and tried to show him the objective side of the craft, in which there are not only flowers and applause.

In 2001, the name Dobronravov appeared in the credits of the adventure series "Searchers" directed by Andrei Sudilovsky. Ivan Fedorovich, who was 12 years old then, starred in a teenage film about how the guys who had come to the summer camp were looking for a treasure. This role of Veni's boy was a debut in the world of cinema. In 2002, the adventurous psychological series “Taiga. Survival Course ”directed by Alexander Aravin. Young Ivan Dobronravov appeared here in the image of Maxim, the son of a school teacher Sergei Petrovich (an excellent work by B. Galkin). According to the plot, the boy, among the nine survivors in the crash of an airplane, is trying to survive in a remote taiga.
World recognition
When the cinema masterpiece by Andrei Zvyagintsev “The Return” (2003) appeared on the screens, critics directly connected the success of the film at world festivals with the extremely expressive game of two boys who played there brothers who went on a trip with their father, whom they had never seen. Andrei's older brother was played by Vladimir Vladimirovich Garin. A sixteen-year-old boy tragically died - he drowned in the lake on the eve of the premiere of the film in which he played so brightly and talentedly. The role of a younger brother named Ivan was played by Ivan Fedorovich Dobronravov (the photos of the boys then adorned the covers of newsreels). This was the beginning of a successful cinematic career of the actor, after the film they began to recognize him on the streets. 600 candidates came to the casting, Zvyagintsev chose these two for the role of brothers, noting in an interview that he was bribed by the stable internal independence of both guys. They “read” their roles with their hearts. The game of young actors made the film not just an excited dramatic story, but a deep philosophical parable.
Career
The fate of Ivan was determined. After graduation, the young man entered the Higher Theater School. Schukin. As a student, Ivan accepted an invitation to shoot in the cult youth series “Cadetism”. The image of the brave and principled Suvorov soldier Andrei Levakov, who did not want to take advantage of the benefits of an orphanage when entering a prestigious institution, was a success for the actor. And in other roles, the audience appears as direct and honest Dobronravov Ivan Fedorovich, whose filmography currently contains about twenty films and series.
In the short-circuit movie short story published in 2009, Ivan very piercingly played a deaf-mute shoemaker (the story “Urgent Repair”), who tragically fell in love with the invisible owner of elegant white “hairpins”.
In 2010, the actor appeared in the title role (Yegor) in the film "Truce" by Svetlana Proskurina. This tape is addressed to lovers of subtexts and symbolism in art. As always, the hero of Dobronravov is sincere, searching, trying to reconcile the external and internal with each other. For this work, the actor received the Kinotavr prize.
A year later, Dobronravov starred in the crime drama "The House", a year later - in the drama "Judas" based on the story of Leonid Andreev "Judas Iscariot." Here, Ivan creates the image of the disciple of Jesus Matthew. In the film “Moms”, which also consisted of several short stories, Ivan and Fedor Dobronravovs played their son and father, who prepared a stunning gift on March 8 for the mother of the family (Marina Golub).
In one of his latest works, the series Love for a Million, Ivan Fedorovich Dobronravov played the role of a millionaire disguised as a bum very passionately. It seems that the actor is successfully coping with a comedic role in which his father Fedor Viktorovich knows no equal.
When the actor is asked about how, after serious and subtle images on the screen, he agrees to light-weight roles in "telemuvi", he replies that he does not divide the work into serious and secondary, he does every role one hundred percent!
