Recently, a specially organized Football Federation Conference was held in St. Petersburg, the purpose of which was to elect a new leader. It was attended by Boris Borisovich Vakhrushev, vice-president of the LRO of the North-West Football Federation, and Boris Yevgeny Nikolaevich Ponomarev, deputy chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Leningrad Region. Before all the participants, the applicant for the title of leader, Paykin Boris Romanovich, spoke. The meeting participants in a dialogue form asked leading questions, after which, without hesitation, they chose Boris Romanovich Paykin to be known to St. Petersburg primarily as a builder, in the past he was the head of several companies and government agencies, who did a lot for his native city of RoRomanoO. Recently, he is also the president of FC Tosno and makes great efforts for its development. For example, Paykin promised that a specialized boarding school for children athletes involved in football will be built. He will become the forge of personnel for the popularly beloved game in St. Petersburg.
The main issues for the period of leadership of the elected head of the football federation will be the improvement of the number and quality in the youth football direction. Boarding schools for gifted football players, activities to increase the number of those involved in football, consolidation of the material and technical base, and better financing of football entities will be actively created. The leader will actively engage in attracting representatives of the industrial industry and those engaged in entrepreneurial activities to participate in football development programs.
