Propolis tincture for alcohol is a clear solution of dark brown color, has a characteristic smell of wood resins, tastes bitter and tart. Upon contact with the tongue, it has anesthetic effect.
Medicinal properties: The composition of the product includes more than 280 compounds, of which 111 have been studied. The bulk of its composition is terpene compounds, which are the basis of all essential oils and have an antifungal effect, as well as wax and volatile substances that provide an antibacterial effect.
The product contains a significant amount of mineral and organic elements, such as phosphorus, calcium, zinc, selenium, aluminum, iron, copper and silicon. As well as vitamins E, A, group B and all amino acids necessary for human life.
Propolis tincture for alcohol also has a wound healing, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral effect, has antiseptic, immunostimulating properties.
Propolis tincture for alcohol - application:

Healing wounds and injuries: moisten a tissue with a solution and apply to a sore spot once a day. With otitis media, a swab soaked in a solution is injected into the ear 2-3 times a day for one to two minutes, or with a pipette 2-3 times a day, one or two drops are instilled into the auricle.
In the chronic form of sinusitis, the nasal cavity should be washed with alcohol tincture mixed with a solution of sodium chloride in accordance with 1/10. With tonsillitis and pharyngitis: a solution diluted with water, lubricate the inflamed tonsils or use tincture for inhalation, adding the product to water (1/20).
Production: Propolis alcohol tincture can be purchased ready-made in specialized stores or made at home on their own. To do this, grind a piece of propolis into small pieces, with a diameter of no more than 2 - 3 mm. To facilitate the task, you can place the substance in the freezer for a while, and then grate it.
The resulting shavings are placed in a container made of opaque glass and pour quality medical alcohol at the rate of 1 gram of propolis per 10 grams of alcohol. The resulting mixture is well corked and placed in a cool dark place for two weeks, occasionally shaking.
Ready tincture of propolis for alcohol should be in a dark, cool place. Proper storage of the finished product will ensure the safety of all beneficial actions for up to three years.
