Fans of fishing, especially bottom fishing, are faced with a situation where the fish behaves very carefully and in order for fishing to be successful, it is necessary to use sensitive gear. For this reason, feeder equipment has become very popular. It provides activity of a bite and on a rod tip transfers bites. The article gives advice on its use and types.
Design and use of feeder equipment
What is feeder equipment and how does it differ from other fishing methods? The feeder, in fact, is a universal tackle for bottom fishing. Its essence is that next to the hook there is a feeding bait with a bait to attract fish, and the fisherman controls the bite. The design of the gear is thought out in such a way that the feeder does not affect the transfer from the hook of the bite to the sensitive tip of the rod. In some cases, the feeder is set so that the self-fish is obtained. The feeder is a very convenient tackle that can be used in any conditions and catch large and small fish. Abandon the feeder on a well-fed five-copeck coin. Unlike a conventional fishing rod, the feeder makes it possible to place the hook with the bait in the treasured hole, the edge and the angler will never leave empty-handed.
The feeder is a fishing rod specially equipped with fishing line in a non-inertia reel or braid, the feeder equipment and the feeder are mounted on its end. It is important to choose the right rod. There are three types: heavy, light and medium. They differ in power and weight of the feeder. There are compound feeder rods and telescopic. All are equipped with sensitive tips that can be changed. For beginner anglers, middle-class fiberglass rods are more suitable.
Types of feeder equipment
There are 3 types of feeder equipment, common in Europe and in Russia. The loop is symmetrical, asymmetrical and a paternoster. The first two relate to moving snap-ins, they can perfectly respond and transmit bites of fish moving in any direction. Due to the minimal friction unit in the connection of the feeder with the fishing line, high sensitivity is provided. Leashes change quickly and the loop-to-loop method is used.
All types that the feeder equipment has are universal and can be used in any reservoirs. But each has individual advantages. For example, an asymmetric loop when casting resists overlaps. A symmetrical loop can hold the nozzle in stagnant water strictly in the selected bait zone. For beginners, a paternoster is more suitable, as the most simple, and, nevertheless, effective snap-in, which is minimally prone to tangles.
The equipment for the feeder is manufactured using imported high-quality components. For beginners anglers are intended sets of equipment that are used for bottom fishing. Inexperienced fishermen can independently determine which of the snap-ins is more effective.
Loop tackle is suitable for a river where the fish moves fast with the stream. Taking the nozzle, the fish continues to swim while the feeder slides in the loop. As soon as the loop ends, the fish, gaining speed, makes a sharp jerk and the hook gets stuck in its mouth.
The feeder for catching large fish is equipped with heavy feeders that can hold gear in the flowing water. At first, the swivel with a clasp is put on the main fishing line. A feeder is attached to them. Its leash should be smaller than the main one from the fishing line. Then on the fishing line you need to wear a rubber chipper. It will serve as a protection for the end node of the main fishing line. The shortest lead (ten to fifteen centimeters) is attached to the end of the main line through the swivel. Such equipment of a feeder rod is suitable for fishing large-sized fish. For bait, you can use bundles of corn, large worms, etc. Cutting is performed when the fishing line is pulled, and the tops of the feeder deviate to the side.
