- Active participation in integrated design. Knowledge in the field of architecture of any building structures, the ability to establish a normal course of work, the ability to set the right time and comply with them.
- Planning the range and quantity of purchases, attracting labor and its specialization.
- Ability to conduct business negotiations and consultations with representatives of related departments and people with different levels of education (surveyors, environmentalists, senior managers, installers, etc.).
- Personal supervision of construction works.
In addition, a civil engineer must be well versed in any technical documentation, know the architectural characteristics of various building structures (such as bridges, dams, overpasses, buildings). This specialist must know and comply with
safety regulations, because it is he who is responsible for the safety of workers, their health and life, the correct course of work and the operation of buildings. An engineer should be better than the rest in the assortment and quality of materials needed for construction. If necessary, he must demonstrate the correct methods of work to any lower specialist, whether it be a mason, painter or foreman. A person who decides to receive such a profession cannot count on a normalized working day and permanent presence in the office.

Many universities of the country are training specialists of this profile. To get a profession you need to be well versed in physics and chemistry, mathematics, know material science, the basics of management and psychology. In different regions and at different construction enterprises, wages are different. In Moscow and remote regions, it is approximately 25-30 thousand, in the southern regions - from 16 thousand rubles.
