David Conrad: biography

David Conrad is an American actor, best known for his role in the popular series Ghost Talking.

early years

David Conrad was born on August 17, 1967 in Pennsylvania in Swissvale, and raised in Edgewood. Both towns are suburbs of Pittsburgh. David's father, Jim Conrad, was an engineer, and his mother, Margaret, worked as a librarian. He was the youngest son in a family with three children and attended The Kiski School, a preparatory school for boys, which he now periodically visits to see his teachers. In fact, he even made a documentary dedicated to the teacher who had the greatest influence on him.

He continued his studies at Brown University, where he studied drama and theater, and later graduated from the very prestigious Juilliard School in New York. While studying in New York, Conrad takes part in the adaptation adaptation of John Irving’s novel “The Rules of Winemakers”. After graduating, for five years he has been teaching literature and drama at the University of Pittsburgh.

Career

David Conrad's film debut took place in 1994 in the movie Under Heat. Two years later, he received a breakthrough - his first major role in the drama series Relativity. At the same time, he appears with small roles in films such as Force Majeure and Snow White: A Scary Tale. However, David does not part with the theater scene. He takes part in the production of Tom Stoppard’s play “Arcadia”, and in 1998 he debuts on Broadway in the revival of Terence Rettigen’s play “The Deep Blue Sea”, after which he appears in other Broadway productions.

In 2000, David manages to work with eminent actor Robert De Niro in the movie "Military Diver." He later appears with small and minor roles in various FOX series and films: Boston School, Doctor House, Los Angeles Secrets.

In 2005, David gets the role that he is now known for, the role of Jim Clancy in the CBS television series Ghost Talking, the husband of the main character and neither the series, Melinda Gordon, who has the ability to communicate with ghosts. He later appears in various feature films, such as Crazy, Follow the Prophet, and others.

Personal life

David Conrad carefully hides his personal life, so little is known if he is dating anyone at the moment. From 2006 to 2007, David Conrad dated actress Amanda Tosh. In 2009, there were rumors about a relationship with singer Storm Large after they attended an event together.
