But the girls also deal with it, and choose completely different directions: athletics and weightlifting, gymnastics, tennis, fencing, volleyball, basketball and so on. As for volleyball, this is a fairly common option, especially for women. In such a sport take tall people. For example, Lesya Makhno (volleyball player) is 182 cm tall. She achieved great success.
The beginning of a sports career
Lesya Makhno is a famous volleyball player. Born in the Poltava region in 1981. But as a child she moved with her family to Surgut and lived there. In the sports school "Geologist" a volleyball club was founded, where the nine-year-old Lesya immediately began to study. In 1998, the girl began to develop a career as an athlete, playing several seasons for Gazprom-Rossi in Moscow. Soon she went to the Ray. In 2003, Lesya Makhno got into the student team of Russia (at the Universiade) and received a bronze medal.
Major breakthrough
The girl decided to continue her career, and from 2004 to 2005 she played for the Dynamo team, and in 2006 she moved to CSKA, but only lasted one year there.
In 2005, Lesya received the silver championship and the Cup of Russia. This was the first serious victory after the Universiade, which Les Makhno received. Volleyball player chose Dynamo metropolitan and played in the team until 2011. This was the record for a girl staying in a club.
Since 2006, she was accepted into the Russian team. As part of the Dynamo team, Lesya twice became the champion of the Russian Federation in volleyball, three times she got silver, and she won the Cup of Russia once.
In 2008, the legendary athlete became a two-time silver medalist at the international championship.
Athlete's decision
Mid 2009 - Lesya Makhno wants to end her career. From this act the girl was dissuaded by her coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin. As the athlete herself said, he called her and asked about plans for the future. Lesya replied that she was going to play in Dynamo last season, only so that without injuries: she did not want to let the team down. Victor immediately realized that Les was not going to the national team. The reason was the beloved person of the athlete (Egor Evdokimov - a handball player). After completion, she was just about to go to him, who was at that time in Spain.
Club Dynamo offers the athlete a contract for the whole year. Lesya discusses this with her lover, and together they decide that she will play volleyball for another year.
A few weeks later, the coach called her again and reported important news. The girl could not believe that she was taken to the World Cup.
In the fall of 2010, Lesya Makhno became the world champion in volleyball.
A few unpleasant moments
The athlete told reporters about her not the most pleasant memories. Lesya said that once she and her team had dinner in a cafe. Everyone felt a slight jolt, and then said that an earthquake had begun. Many were scared, but the girl was not afraid of heights (the cafe was on the 43rd floor). Nothing terrible happened, so everyone escaped with a slight fright.
The athlete starred for the men's magazine. Lesya Makhno is a volleyball player whose photo was printed in Maxim magazine. When the editor made such an offer, she liked it, but soon she regretted it. The girl liked only one photo, and the athlete until the last was sure that they would put it. But alas ... it did not work out. Lesya was very worried about this situation, but her relatives reassured: “You turned out well in this photo,” and she felt a little better.
In 2011, Lesya Makhno moved to Dynamo Kazan and plays there to this day. A year later, she received a bronze medal in the Champions League.
In 2012, Lesya Makhno married Yegor Evdokimov.
Sport and family life
Schedule of the day in the Russian national team of the famous athlete: rise exactly at 08:00, half an hour later breakfast, from 09:00 two hours of training, lunch, rest, at 17:00 one and a half hours training, physiotherapy. And in that spirit for three days, then one day off.
The entire team is not allowed to bring lovers to the game. In addition, spouses are not allowed to violate the regime of athletes. Communication is allowed only in free time or at the weekend. Lesya said that she and her husband have no such problems. Because he is also an athlete, and spends almost all his time in training. And when the moment of meeting comes, for them it becomes a fairy tale.
Once she was asked the question: “Do all athletes have husbands athletes? Is that such a system? ” Lesya Makhno replied that all athletes are looking for lovers who are similar in spirit, it’s easier and more understanding. It is very rare when a girl goes in for sports and falls in love with an ordinary man.
Makhno admitted that playing volleyball, she enjoys to this day. Especially now it is not easy for her hobby, but also work.
