Edge - what is it?

In Russian, you can find words that are endowed with several interpretations. In different speech situations, they can indicate completely different meanings. One of these words also refers to the noun "land". The history of the word "land" is as follows. This word is native Russian. It refers to the pre-Slavic vocabulary, was used in the Old Slavonic language. It is still present in many Slavic languages, for example, in Ukrainian and Belarusian.
