This calculation is called the Lorentz formula, according to it, the ideal weight is calculated as follows: from the growth expressed in centimeters, 100 is subtracted, and the value obtained from the difference in growth in centimeters and 150, divided in half. Also recently, one of the British mathematicians, who believed that the traditional calculation of body mass gives a somewhat incorrect result, proposed a new formula. Therefore, any universal calculation of body weight is suitable only as an inaccurate guideline.

Determining body composition and fat percentage is also quite easy, but for this you need a special tool, and even better - a professional nutritionist or fitness instructor. Using this tool, folds are measured on different parts, which can be formed, and the average result is displayed.

The procedure is completely painless, but helps to accurately determine the amount of fat and water in the body. Such a study can be done in a fitness center or clinic.
