The modern education system is constantly undergoing changes. Programs, textbooks are changing, and the system of control over the assimilation of educational material and the quality of teaching of individual disciplines is changing.
Most recently, all graduates were scared by the Unified State Examination and the State Accelerator. But for 3 years now, in the vocabulary of teachers and students, a new abbreviation - VLR has been increasingly found. What is VLOOKUP at school? Today, not only graduates, but also students graduating from primary school are faced with VLD. What is it and why it was invented, we will understand in this article.
PPR in school - what is it?
VPR is the All-Russian verification work. This is a new form of control that was first introduced in Russian schools as an experiment since 2015.
Since 2016, writing of All-Russian test papers in the main subjects of the school curriculum has become mandatory for all educational institutions of the Russian Federation. But many people still ask themselves: PPR in school - what is it and why did it come up with?
VPR is designed to ensure the unity of the educational space throughout the Russian Federation and improve the quality of education in the state.
What is the difference between VLOOKUP and USE or GIA?
In fact, do not be afraid of VLOOKUP. All-Russian verification work is not an exam.
All-Russian verification work, in contrast to the Unified State Examination or the State Final Certification, is just an examination. This is a monitoring of the quality of knowledge, which allows you to determine the level of educational achievement of students in basic subjects. The study of specialized subjects that a child needs for a future profession is usually given more attention. Consequently, the ministry cannot objectively evaluate the effectiveness of the school in the study of a particular subject. Proceeding from this, the All-Russian verification works are aimed not only at revealing the level of students' knowledge in the subject, but also at determining the quality of teaching school subjects in an educational institution.
In which classes are VLR written?
Today, writing the All-Russian verification work is mandatory for 4 classes of all schools of the Russian Federation. The writing of VLOOKUP in the 5-11th varies depending on the decision of the school administration and municipal education authorities. It is also possible the introduction of CDF from the 2nd grade of elementary school. Trial works have already been proposed by the Ministry and written in Russian schools.
Of particular note is the level of knowledge of the population in the Russian language. In this regard, writing VPR in the Russian language in Russian schools is also becoming mandatory.
We do not deny the fact that over time, the writing of VLR in some subjects of the general school may become compulsory for certain classes, since the process of introducing All-Russian verification work and modernizing the diagnosis of the quality of education is still not over.
It is worth noting that graduate students should not write VLR in those subjects that they have chosen to pass the Unified State Exam. In other words, if a student passes an exam in biology, then he is not obliged to write a VLP in biology.
PPR in elementary school: what is it?
What items are subject to monitoring? At the end of the 4th grade of elementary school, VPR are written in several subjects. Among them:
- Mathematics.
- Russian language.
- The world.
Pupils of the 4th grade without fail write VLR for the course of elementary school.
In addition, by decision of the school or by order of the educational authorities, the All-Russian verification work in basic subjects can be carried out starting from the 2nd grade. In the 2nd grade of Russian schools, VLR in the Russian language becomes mandatory and necessary.
Why is VLOOKUP in primary school needed?
For graduates of elementary school, VPR in the Russian language is an obligatory test work, which is designed to determine the level of knowledge and skills on the topics of vocabulary, spelling, punctuation, orthoepy and communication skills proposed by the Russian language program for elementary school. This requires monitoring, which allows to identify deficiencies and adjust the work of the elementary school in the study of the state language.
In order to identify the level of mathematical competence, compulsory VLR in mathematics was introduced in elementary school. Writing a test paper is the logical final stage of education in elementary school.
The writing of All-Russian verification works around the world allows us to identify the general level of development of primary school graduates, their comprehensiveness and social competence, formed through the study of the primary school course.
How are VLOOKUP?
All-Russian verification work on a specific subject is carried out simultaneously in certain classes of all Russian schools. Tasks are provided by the ministry. They also offer criteria for evaluating work. The responsibility of the educational institution is to provide the teachers responsible for organizing and checking the CDW at the school (what you already know).
40-45 minutes are allotted for writing VLR, as well as for writing test work on the subject, depending on the class.
Does the grade for VLP affect the final grade for the subject?
It should be remembered that the All-Russian verification work is not an exam at all. In fact, this is a test, a regular monitoring of knowledge.
In this regard, an assessment for VLD affects the final assessment for a trimester or a year in the same way as an assessment for a thematic control work. Practice shows that most students when writing VLR confirm their current grades.
The main difficulties and problems when writing VLOOKUP
Since VLD is a relatively new phenomenon in the educational environment, with its organization, many difficulties still arise that both teachers and students experience.
The main difficulties of a teacher in preparing for the CDF include the following:
- lack of clearly developed guidelines for the organization of work;
- the variability of educational programs (the tasks proposed for the CDF are averaged; they do not rely on one educational program);
- lack of demos of VLOOKUP (the teacher needs to know what to focus on, and a small number of test tasks complicates the criteria for selecting materials for preparation);
- the volume of tasks is large enough, and the time allotted for their implementation is often not enough;
- conducting a CDF at the end of the school year (as you know, the end of the school year for the teacher is a rather difficult period, which is full of verification work, preparation of reports, graduation events, etc.);
- use of complex texts in tasks.
Particular difficulties for students cause:
- tasks of a creative nature;
- tasks on spatial thinking;
- tasks of increased complexity;
- tasks requiring independent goal setting, planning, drawing up an algorithm of actions;
- tasks that require critical thinking and judgment;
- complex wording of tasks that are not always clear to children.
How to prepare for the All-Russian verification work?
To overcome the difficulties and fears of students before writing VLR, teachers should organize their professional activities in such a way that writing test work does not become an additional stress for children.
It is important to understand that this is not an exam that will not allow you to go to the next class, but just monitoring in the format of the test.
Today, many manuals have been developed for preparing for VLD in elementary school. Therefore, teachers are encouraged to:
- introduce elements of tasks in the CDF format into lessons;
- apply a variety of forms and methods of work;
- systematically move from teamwork to independent tasks;
- to accustom students to the rational distribution of time for the performance of certain tasks, learn to calculate the time and their strength;
- include parents in preparation for CDF;
- provide students with psychological support, instill confidence in their abilities.
With the right preparation and organization of CDF in elementary school, this process will be painless, and its results will increase the level of education in the country and ensure the unity of the educational space.
