At first, he does not suspect that the hunt has already begun for him, but when he gradually recalls that he was once a high-class assassin, he comes to realize the severity of his situation. Films about Bourne tell about the work of the super-killer, about Jason’s confrontation with his “creators” - those who made him such, taught everything that he knows how to, and whose orders he once unconditionally carried out, and other super-agents who aim to destroy him.
The film “Bourne Identity” (directed by Doug Lyman) opens the quadrology. The CIA headquarters receives information about the failure of the operation to destroy the African leader. In order to avoid the disclosure and publicity that Nikvan Vambrozi threatens from the screens, the head of the Tredstone project orders the destruction of all information related to this attempt. This is not only about documents, but also about people. Among them - special agent Jason Bourne. Together with the memory and danger that pursue the hero at every turn, love comes to him. And now the mercenary must save not only himself, but also make every effort to save the life of a person close to him.
Films about Bourne continue the films “The Bourne Supremacy”, shot in 2004, and “The Bourne Ultimatum” (2007), which tell about the further adventures of the Super-Killer, a CIA employee and directed by Paul Greengrass. In each of them, he is forced not only to carry out the work assigned to him to protect the interests of the country, but also constantly struggle to save his life and those close to him. James finally finds out his real name. He is David Webb, and he has only one desire - to disappear.
The film “The Bourne Evolution” (directed by Tony Gilroy), released in 2012, does not lose its sharpness and dynamism. Events in it develop in parallel with the actions in Bourne Identity. Special Agent Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner), raised in the US Department of Defense’s Outcom project, who, unlike the Threadstone, used specially designed pills to prepare spies, becomes No. 1 enemy to Jason. Films about Bourne were filmed based on the Robert Ludlam trilogy . The final film of the franchise is called the novel of the same name by Eric Van Lastbader, but is not an adaptation of it.
