Alex Shaw is forced to admit to the girl that he works in a capture group. He had to lie to her because her last affair with the cop ended in a painful break. To make amends, Alex invites Annie on a romantic cruise.
Seeing a gorgeous airliner with five decks, the girl forgives her lover and eagerly rushes aboard. The guide brings them to the cabin and explains where the pool, spa, beauty salon and other important rooms are. The couple is in high spirits. The liner departs from the pier, and a real sea tale begins. True, it does not last long - one of the passengers disabled the control panel. An experienced programmer knew exactly how to act in such a situation.
John Geiger pretends to be drunk and bursts into the commander's room. There, he imperceptibly attaches the device to the back of the tabletop. Alex, meanwhile, suffers from seasickness, which delights his companion. Finally, he became like a normal person, not a suspicious guardian of the law. The next evening, they set off for a romantic dinner, and John throws the captain overboard and changes into his uniform. At that moment, when Alex is going to make Annie's proposal, an explosion occurs on the ship and the captain's assistants discover that they can no longer operate the airliner. The fire begins.

After the boats were lowered into the water, Alex heard the sailors talking and realized that the capture had taken place on the ship. He decides to stay and figure out the situation. Annie also refuses to leave the ship, and they, together with several volunteers, develop a plan. The main thing is to reduce the speed of the ship, because it is already obvious where the ship is heading - a huge oil tanker is visible ahead.
John takes Annie hostage and floats with her on a motorboat. Alex manages to avoid a collision and put the ship on land. There he takes a boat and rushes to help the girl. At the last moment, Alex manages to grab it and wrest it from the hands of a criminal flying away on a seaplane, who, distracted by a couple in love, crashed into the mast of a tanker. The crew jumps overboard, while Alex and Annie dive deeper. The explosion did not harm them, and, having climbed to the surface, the guy gives the ring to his lady. Annie agrees to become his wife.
