All students of higher and secondary educational institutions have to write control and term papers, essays and projects throughout the entire period of study.
The most difficult to implement, the number of literary sources used, the volume of the text are term papers in subjects. Before writing such works, the teacher must provide students with a list of topics, give recommendations on literature and offer an approximate plan for writing term papers.
Course writing plan
First you need to draw up a course work plan and outline the sequence of its implementation:
- Together with the teacher to determine the topic of the term paper.
- To select reference books, literature and other sources on a given topic.
- Examine all of these sources and select the information you need.
- Next is the rationale for the relevance of the intended topic.
- The introduction and the theoretical part of the study are being written.
- If the work has a practical part, then a practical section is drawn up: graphs, calculations, tables, diagrams, schemes, etc.
- If the work is experimental, the preparation and conduct of the experiment, its analysis and conclusions are described.
- Final part.
- List of used literature (bibliography) according to GOST.
- Applications
- The design of the title page.
- Handing over to the head for an assessment and protection if it is provided.
The course work plan includes the approximate content of the chapters:
Chapter 1. Contains a description of the problem, a theory of research on a problem topic, historical experience associated with this problem.
Chapter 2. The analysis of the subject of research is carried out, a description of its parameters and characteristics is given, the previously advanced provisions are proved and argued, calculations are made and conclusions are justified.
The general plan of the course work. Example
- Title page (name of college, university; topic, who completed, who checked, city, year).
- Table of contents (contents).
- Introductory part.
- The main part (several numbered chapters).
- Conclusion (contains conclusions).
- Bibliography (list of used literature).
- Applications (diagrams, experimental calculations, graphs, etc.).
