It is in sixth place in the world in its area and occupies not only the main part of the land, but also many islands adjacent to it, in particular, Tasmania. From an economic point of view, this country is very developed, and it occupies the thirteenth place in this rating. Most of the population is concentrated on the east coast, and the western part of the mainland is that corner where the original nature and traditions of the ancient local peoples are preserved.

Then these lands were discovered by Willem Janszon, who called them New Greenland. However, later the Dutch did not become the owners of this colony. Later, with an expedition, Spanish and French explorers went to these southern lands, who also did not conquer them, but only made up a general impression for themselves. So, by the 18th century, the first maps of the world appeared on which Australia was clearly traced.

By the beginning of the 19th century, the United Kingdom settled very densely on the shores of this huge island and quite legally proclaimed it as its new possessions, since the locals did not show resistance.
