Denmark Ramirez was born on November 8, 1979, to the Dominican Republic, in a very poor family of Hispanic descent in the city of Santo Domingo. She was raised by her grandmother. When Denmark was only 6 months old, her parents left for the USA. She met them in New York only when she was 10 years old.
From a young age, Denmark knew that it wanted to act. She was spotted by a modeling agent and took part in an advertising campaign for sparkling water.
Later, she seriously decided to become an actress and was trained in the acting studio in New York with Flo Greenberg. She studied at Montclair State University.
Personal life
Denmark Ramirez was engaged to Jesse Terrero in 2007. Unfortunately, the relationship did not last long, and during the year the couple broke up. This orphanage provides more than 135 orphans with the opportunity to receive housing, medical care and college education to help them become independent and full members of their communities.
